"What the hell was that!" John exclaimed. Ashlyn went up to Seraphina and used the Wellston healers amplified ability to search for any damage in her body, luckily no damage was caused to her except a few scratches from the fight and that guy couldn't inject her with the disabler. Me and Arthur and Ashlyn sat on the Sofa while John sat on a chair and Seraphina went to change her clothes.

"John, from tomorrow morning you are to be transferred to the school dorms." I said he looked at me with his eyes widened. "W-why?" John said. "These people must have been spying on your house for quite a while now and you are in danger if you would continue to live here. I'll talk with the headmaster to prepare a place for you in the school dorms after reporting that incident. " I said.

"No! I can take care of myself!" John said. "John, it's not a matter of taking care of your self, these people are dangerous." I said. "And how do you know so much about them anyways?" John asked. I went silent for a few moments and then decided to answer.

"Fine, since you want to know so much, remember when that invisible guy followed us after going back from the mall?" I said. Arthur looked a little nervous and Ashlyn chuckled at his reaction. "Yes, I do remember." John replied.

"Well, the day after I found out that he was a student at Wellston and that is why I followed him and captured him." I said. John looked a bit shocked. "Captured him?" He said. "Yeah, in fact he is our friend Arthur here." I said pointing at Arthur. John looked at Arthur with wide eyes. Arthur gave the "hehe I'm in danger" look. John stood up but I stopped him. "Don't, he already agreed to help us take these people down, in fact he was the one who pointed out the thing about the stuffed bear having a tracker." I said. John calmed down a bit.

"Then, how did they manage to push Seraphina that far?" John asked. "It's the damper." This time Arthur was the one to talk. "It reduces one's ability level by half, that is why she couldn't fight them off easily." Arthur continued. Seraphina came and confirmed this. "Yes, I wasn't able to rewind my injuries at all." She said as she sat on a chair next to John.

"And that thing that he was trying to inject her with. What's the deal with it?" John asked.

"It's an ability disabler." Ashlyn said. John and Seraphina's eyes widened. "Yes, as Ashlyn said it, they were trying to disable Seraphina's ability to force her into being their recruit." I said. John put his hand on his head and Seraphina looked scared.

"So if he injected me with that thing, I would be... a cripple?" She said. I nodded. "And that is precisely why you should leave this house as fast as possible. They could come back any moment. And you John cannot fight them off alone, you are still not strong enough to deal with these situations especially the damper thing." I said to John. "He is right John, I can't let you be here alone." Seraphina said.

"Ugh, fine I'll transfer to the school dorms. It's getting late are you three gonna leave?" John asked. "No, we won't, there is a huge chance they will come back again. And they might bring someone stronger so we need to be careful." I said.

John nodded and we had some conversations and before we know it was already mid night.

Me and the two boys slept on the floor while the girls slept on the sofa.

"Miss, they are all asleep now, we should be able to attack now and disable all of them."

"Okay, let's get this over with deploy the damper." I said as I took the damper negator to negate the damper's effects.

"Let's go." I said as I left the van and walked towards the house. I opened the door slowly as I entered with some if the low ranking assets all of us have the ability disabler needles.

Suddenly ice spikes came from the ground below us, wounding most of the people with me. "How the hell!" I thought. I activated my ability and made 3 duplicates of myself.

I two beams where shot at me but I managed to dodge it, however another 2 beams attacked my clones thus destroying them. It was dark and I could barely see. "They must have prepared for us to attack!" I thought. Suddenly I got stabbed from the back.

I looke behind me and see a guy with white hair stabbing me with an ice blade. He retrieved the blade and I fell on the ground. I see all my subordinates on the floor. "It was a mistake!" I thought suddenly the guy behind me disappeared and I could see five people standing in front of me.

A black haired boy with golden glowing eyes held my hair lifting my face from the ground. "You!" He said as he was about to hit me. I made a duplicate of myself and attacked him however a girl with white hair fired a beam at my duplicate completely destroying it with ease. "It's pointless!" I thought I decided to run. I broke from his grasp and ran.

"Oh, no you won't." A male voice said as my legs were trapped in place with ice. "This is! Liam's ability, how?" I thought. Suddenly I got electrocuted so I passed out.
