[JOHN DOE]

[John's house]

"Hey, you haven't told me what happened with you, why are you not with your parents?" I asked Sersphina, Elaine left after she ate with us saying that she has some important matters to deal with, I figured that she might not want to deal with me at the moment as she connected the dots quickly and understood that I beat her beloved Arlo, but it's fine at least I tried to be nice and I'll continue to do that... hopefully.

"Oh, right I haven't told you, I had an argument with my parents and forced them to send me here." Seraphina said.

"Oh, someone is rebellious..." I said as she gave me a light punch on my shoulder. It's like a new habit for her after realizing I was fooling her all along which I kinda deserve.

We sat on the sofa and played some games and before we knew it, it was already 10 PM, we went to sleep as I still had school tomorrow.

I was thinking about all the events that happened today, realizing I had relatives, how come I never knew about them? They are from my mother's side of the family since they have the same ability as me but higher level. I wonder if didn't stop training would I be as strong as them?

After a while I fell asleep.

[Wellston Private Highschool]

"Today I'm supposed to go and fight Arlo and dethrone him and seize the kingship from him... but I'm still hesitant." I thought while I'm having my break on the roof with Grey and Ashlyn. "When are planning to do it?" Grey asked as if he read my mind.

"I'm still hesitant, I said I'll dethrone him as a punishment but I didn't think it through. Maybe I'll wait for Sera to get back to school first..." I replied.

"But what even made you want to be King?" Grey asked. I was silent for a few seconds then decided to reply. "Because... I believe it's the only way for me to change... I need to embrace the problem which is my anger and my fear of responsibility and because of unOrdinary, I always admired the hero of unOrdinary, he knew that everyone had something valuable to offer, I always wanted to be like him, he listens to everyone but I never did. All the problems happened to me that caused me to not use my ability is because I didn't listen to people around me and when I faced the consequences... I wanted to throw away everything and live a peaceful life, but all I have been doing is hiding from the truth but this power I have... I have to use it eventually, a fact that I had known long ago but decided to ignore it." I said as I gave a sigh then continued.

"I want to be helpful, I want to be useful, I want to be like the hero of unOrdinary, someone who would listen and help people, I have the power to do so, however I still need help." I said to Grey as Ashlyn nodded.

"You bet! I'll hit you with a cactus if you go out of your way!" Ashlyn said as I dead panned at her. "Yeah, like that but please without the cactus thing." I said.

"Well, this is all interesting to see, However you should no that if you became King, there will be no way to return back to your life now. Are you aware of that?" Grey asked with a serious tone.

I thought about it for a second and replied.

"Yes, I am." I replied to him. "Good, you needn't worry about losing control as I will help you with a few things, and you can consider your temper one of them..." Grey said.

"Like what?" I asked. "Well since you are my and Ashlyn's relative that opens up a lot of possibilities.. you'll find out soon enough." He said as he got up and started to leave. "I'll be taking my leave now Remi wanted to talk with me about something." He continued as he left.

"Woah talk about mysterious..." I said, Ashlyn chuckled a bit. "That is Grey for ya, he isn't easy to deal with especially after an incident that happened long ago." Ashlyn said.

"Incident?" I said raising an eyebrow. "Well since you are close enough, I suppose you would want to know this." Ashlyn said with a deep sigh.

"Grey killed someone before..." Ashlyn said. My eyes flew open as I tried to process what I had just heard. "Grey? K-kill?" I said stuttering from the shock.

"Well, it wasn't intentional of course, Grey was fourteen back then, me and Grey were raised by a single father as our Mother died when Grey was around four. She had a rare disease of some sort that killed her, our father became cold after our mother's death, he focused on us getting stronger more than anything. His cold and firm ways of dealing with us had no effect on me, Grey however was another case. Grey was extremely violent and had no mercy in his heart, one time when he was fourteen in middle school he kid tried to bully him not knowing of Grey's strength, Grey fought the kid but he took it too far and the kid went to the hospital, but he didn't make it. Grey went to a readjustment classes and the one monitoring him was someone called Keon." Ashlyn said and my eyes widened even more. "Please continue." I told her, I didn't expect that Grey would have dealt with that guy too.

"After Grey was out he was broken to say the least, but I helped him recover and after another year of recovering he was fine again, however it left a mark on him." Ashlyn continued.

"Ugh, I didn't know this would be Grey's story." I said still trying to process everything.

"Oh! Look at the time, I better get going, bye John." Ashlyn said as she got up and left.

"What a bombshell..." I thought.
