"What am I supposed to do now..." I thought as I was thinking about what will happen next after John's threat about dethroning me, why hasn't he made a move yet? Should I not try to stop him? Would I even be able to stop him? Should I just give up?

Various thoughts took over as my mind went into an anxious state of regret. I should have listened to what Isen had told me, my ignorance led me to this and now I'll have to pay for it.

I walked towards the roof as I decided to sit there for a while but when I was walking I saw a girl with white hair and black eyes walking past me, I recognized her to be that guy's sister as they looked a lot like each other and I recognize her as the one who saved Meili from the fall when I ambushed John.

She didn't say anything but her face said a lot. She had a smirk on her face almost as if she is mocking me for being an idiot. I ignored her an continued to walk towards the roof.

I opened the door and I saw him, John was sitting there eating a sandwich. He looked at me and his face changed into a look of disgust. "Why are you here?!" I asked. "What? Can't you see I'm eating? And you can't even pull the cripple card on me as I already dethroned you." John said with authority. "Then why haven't you made it official yet?" I said with a smirk, trying to shake his confidence.

"Everything takes time Arlo, I already told you, enjoy your throne while you still can." John said as he finished his sandwich, he walked past and left.

I was furious as I punched one of the roof walls making a first like print on it.

I walked towards the place where Remi wanted to meet me, it was her dorm. I was a bit embarrassed at the idea of going into a girl's dorm but it must have been important.

I arrived in front of her door and knocked. She opened and she was wearing casual clothes not the school uniform. "Uh, why aren't you wearing your school uniform?" I asked. "Oh, I took the day off." She said. I tilted my head, "Uh, you can do that?" I asked as I entered her room. "Well, being a royal has its perks... anyways I want to discuss something important with you." Remi said. "Oh? And what is that?" I asked.

"I asked my friend Isen -the one with orange hair- to search for clues about Ember and he couldn't find anything, so I decided to become a vigilante and search for clues myself about Embe-" Remi said before I cut her off.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" I said. "Are you crazy? Rei was stronger than you and couldn't fight them alone and you plan to do that?" I said as Remi started to look at the floor like a little girl being scolded by her father.

"I know it sounds and it is crazy, BUT I CANNOT STAY STILL KNOWING THAT THE PEOPLE WHO KILLED MY BROTHER ARE OUT THERE!" Remi said as her eyes began to shed tears.

"Remi, I have a little idea about how you might be feeling right now but I can't let you do it." I said. "You became one, why can't I be too?!" Remi said. "Remi, I'm way stronger than you can imagine, even tho I'm not a royal, it is by my choice. You can't just go out there even if you are a high tier you will be killed if should encounter one of Ember's Agents." I said as I realized what I just said. "Ember's Agents? What is that." Remi asked her curiosity appeared on her face.

"Ugh, they are Ember's main power house, they are all high tiers and they are incredibly powerful by your standards -even tho they cannot be compared to someone as strong as Seraphina- they are powerful." I said.

"I don't care, I'll look for those people and make them pay for it!" Remi said. "I won't let you." I said with authority.

"Then stop me!" Remi said as she activated her ability. "Ugh, Remi I don't want to hurt you, I can't let you go get yourself killed either!" I said.

"Then come with me... if you care about me that much then come with me." Remi said. I considered the idea and thought about it for a moment.

"Oh man, what a drag. Alright I'll come with you." I said to her as she suddenly hugged me, my eyes widened. I returned the hug but I wanted the earth to crack and swallow me from embarrassment.

"Blyke also wanted to come with me and Isen too!" Remi said. "Who was Blyke again?" I asked trying to remember. "The red haired one." Remi said. "Oh! Now I remember, Alright when do you plan to start? I stopped being a vigilante when I came to Wellston. Ashlyn will probably have an arguement with me about this since she was always against the idea of being a vigilante as she thinks its rational and dangerous." I said. Remi giggled a bit. "I don't know yet but I'll text you later anyways. Thanks, Grey." Remi said with a little blush.

"No need, you are my friend's sister after all, how can I call myself his friend if I didn't help his sister." I said with a smile as I started to leave.

"I'll be taking my leave then..." I said as I opened the door. "Wait!" Remi said, I looked at her.

"What is it?" I said. "Do you... want to come with me and Isen and Blyke to the mall after school?" Remi said. "Well, I have no problem with that. I'll meet you at the exit after school." I said with a smile as I left.

"How am I gonna explain this to Ashlyn..." I thought.
