I finally had free time to visit my son after so long, to be honest I'm kinda angry that he didn't call me for the last couple of days! Kids these days have no respect for their parents, I will make a nice surprise for him!

I started to grin as I opened the door to enter the house. "I'm home! Are you here John?" I said. Before I could say anything else I saw a girl sitting on a sofa, she had purple hair with green stripes and blue eyes looking at me. "Wait you are... not John.. please don't tell me I broke into someone's house..." I said. "Well, neither are you, however this is the place you are looking for.." She said as she stoop up and came to me and extended her hand for a handshake. "You must be John's father, my god... you two look almost identical." The girl said with a smile. I shaked hands with her and I suddenly had a realization.

"You must be John's friend! That Seraphina that John was talking about." I said to her as she nodded. "Yup! That's me." She replied.

I suddenly realized the situation here.

"Wait, what are you doing here at John's house anyway? You kids sure are really fast." I said as I raised an eyebrow. Her look of confidence was changed to a look of slight embarrassment as she shook her head. "No! its not ... what you think!" She said. I continued to give her the sus look as she continued. "I'm here because I was suspended and my suspension will end in a few days."

She regained her composure as I understood the situation. "How did you pull that one off?" I asked, "Well, I read a certain book..." She replied. I understood what she meant. "Well, sorry about that..." I said.

"It's ok! John should be here soon so you might have to wait to see him." She said. "It's fine by me... but hey I always wondered, out of the two of you. Who is stronger?" I said as she gave me a confused look. "John told me that you are really strong so I was wondering who of you is stronger?" I asked.

"Well, I don't know that myself as I found about John's ability a few days ago." She said, my eyes widened. "Why? What happened?" I asked.

"John enrolled at Wellston but he kept posing as a cripple for two years. And he told me the truth a few days ago as he became bored of all the bullying and wants to take over as King." She said. "Ugh, it seems that he didn't recover..." I said. "Yeah..." she replied as I sat on the sofa and she did too. After a few minutes John came. "I'm bac---" John said but cut himself off when he saw me. "Dad?" John said. "Welcome home son." I said with a smile. "Why are you here?" John said. "What? Can't I visit my son?" I replied acting as if I'm hurt. "Besides, you didn't call me the past few days!" I said.

"Well, I had a lot of stuff going on so I kinda forgot." John replied in an apologetic tone.

"Well, we have a lot to talk about now." I said with a smile and an evil grin.

"Ashlyn, I told you for the billionth time! I'm not weak! I can handle myself." Grey said. I kept arguing with him about becoming a vigilante but he just won't listen.

I suddenly gave a sigh of defeat. "Okay, but under one condition." I said. "Shoot." He replied. "I'm coming too." I said. His face changed for a bit but gave a sigh of defeat. "Fine!" He replied.

"Ashlyn, are you serious?" Arthur said. "Yes, I am serious." I replied as he had a sad look on his face. I chuckled a bit. "Are you worried about me?" I said. "N-no, I'm not... just asking." He said. I pulled him for a hug. "You do realise me and Grey are super strong, Right?" I said. He didn't resist my hug this time as he seemed a bit overwhelmed. "If you want you can come too, but you are gonna be helping us from the back seats, I used to do that with Grey too when he was a vigilante when Rei was alive.

He hugged back and replied. "I'm coming too."

"Are you two done being a couple yet?" Grey said with a deadpan look. "Shut up!" Me and Arthur said in union.

"Oh, teaming up on me huh?" Grey said with a chuckle.

I threw a book at him from a desk next to me but he dodged it. He pulled his tongue out as he started to run.

I ran after him.
