My father's voice rang through the place as he went down the stairs. Giving us a confused look, he stood before us. "What are you talking about kids?" He says. Grey was about to speak before I stopped him. "Uh, it's an anime me and Grey wanted to watch. It's about kids with superpowers fighting against the corrupted system of their society." I reply quickly as Father smiled and nodded.

"Oh... Are you kids still into anime and stuff? I thought you'd not like anime when you grow up." Father said chuckling. Grey catches up on what I'm doing and follows along by acting hurt. "Father! We told you many times anime is not for kids!" Grey continues after me as Father chuckles even more. "Okay okay, big guys. Now I ought to sleep quickly or else I'm not gonna be okay on the flight."

Father proceeds to walk up the stairs and enter his room. Leaving me and Grey panting from relief. "That was close." Arthur who was not talking the whole time like a puppet whispered revealing that he too was very nervous. "Phew... Yeah... he almost caught us. Now we need to sleep or else he'd get more suspicious if he wakes up and see us awake." Grey said. We all nod and decide to go to bed.

Morning came and Father said goodbye to us and left to the airport saying when he returns his secretary would kill him of he got any more late as his schedule is super tight.

Grey then continues to tell me what happened on his little "Advetnure" with Remi. He told me that Rei was in fact alive and they took him and put him under control using some sort of sound waves via a mask which shocked me. Why would they need Rei alive? Are they just experimenting on him? I was lost in thought as Grey suddenly waved his hands against my face. "HELLO! ARE YOU LISTENING?" Grey says waking me out of my "Zone out". "Uh yes... you were saying?" I say looking at his hands holding a bag.

"I'm going to bring these to Sophie. We need her help to analyse the Amplifiers and the Broken mask." Grey says.

"Ugh? Sophie? That crazy girl. I don't know how are you able to deal with her. She is just... weird. Eh, it's not my problem tho." I say as I give him a wide grin. "Are we taking another day off from school? I kinda feel bored sitting here all day doing nothing but try to convince an Orphan to plot against the person who "Raised her"." Arthur said looking at us deadpan.

"Uh... you know you can go alone if you want? Me and Grey don't need school much." I say. "But you can't keep getting absent for so long. You might get a warning or even a punishment." Arthur argues back. We both nod and comply. "Guess I'll have to visit Sophy after school then." Grey says as we get ready for school. Leaving Emma to take care of Candace.

I wake up still exhausted from the injuries I had. Thanks to Grey I was healed but I still feel exhausted which is probably because of the Amplifier side effects. Remi was stayed by my side those past two days. She even took the day off yesterday and today to take care of me. She was still in denial that I'm alive. Which is understandable. It must have been so hard for her. I wonder what mom would do if she saw me.

Remi woke up and looked at me. Sitting on a chair beside my bed she always slept on that chair to be able to hear me if I needed something. She is really the best sister I could ever ask for, smile spreads across my face.

"Morning shrimp." I say teasingly as she pouts and act hurt. "First thing in the morning and you call me by that ugly nickname." She says.

"Wha? Shrimps are cute." I reply teasingly before I try to get up. I barely have energy to walk so Remi helps me up. "I really hope that what Grey said about me healing in a couple of days If I dont use my ability is true. This Is very bad, I can barely move." I say as I go to the bathroom and wash my face.

"Don't worry, Grey seems experienced in these matters." Remi replied. "Well yeah, but until he visits Sophie we can't know for sure." I reply. "Who is Sophie?" Remi asks.

"Oh right, you don't know her. She's the craziest person I ever knew. However she has a very strong sense of justice and she is very smart and experienced in Aura on the biological and technological level. Thanks to Grey of course she was able to make a lot of experiments with his blood so she will probably know if my case is bad or not. She is also the founder of our little team." I say as Remi looks at me surprised.

"You had an actual team?" She asks. "Yes, She is a crazy person who started the idea. Not gonna lie I followed her as the idea interested me. She is super rich like Grey so she have tons of equipments. And her great intelligence in mechanics and biology makes her super useful." I say as Remi nods.

"What is the thing about her being crazy tho?" Remi asks. "Well... you'll see if you meet her. She has her weird quirks." I reply to which she just nods.

"How about we go for a walk? I want to see the sun light after being a "slave" for so long." I say giggling as Remi nods sadly. "Come on cheer up. I'm here now, and that's all that matter..."
