[Wellston's Cafeteria]

The ear-piercing noises from the kids during lunchtime fill the area around me as I walk to the table to have lunch. Next to me was Ashlyn who had her "Annoyed face" as she was really unhappy with all the noise. John came in later along with Blyke who seems to be John's roommate. "Oh, so Blyke is your roommate huh?" I say to John to which he nods. 

"So? Does he know yet?" I whisper in his ear. "Yeah." He replies. "Why didn't you guys come with us to eat at the roof? this place is so freaking noisy." Ashlyn said with an annoyed face. "Well, Remi said she wanted to come and eat with us so I figured we'd have to sit on chairs and eat on tables... Like normal people." I reply to her. She growled and after a few minutes Remi came along with Isen and we all sat down with our food and started eating. 

"So Remi, Anything new?" I ask while taking a mouthful spoon of chicken soup. "Well, I made Isen search for some places for us to start our search." She said, John kept giving us those "Tf are you talking about" looks. However, I ignored him for the time being. "And?" I ask, wanting to hear what did they manage to find. "And... We found only nearby locations that have high criminal activity, We figured that if we went there. We'd be bound to pump into one of Them."

"The fuck are you guys talking about? Who is "Them"?" John yells to which I just put my hand on his mouth. "Shush, I'll tell you later," I say as he just nods and My conversation with Remi continues. After what seemed like a quarter of an hour, We finished our lunch.

"Remi, We'll begin our "Search" on Tomorrow night. You okay with that?" I ask as we exit the Cafeteria. "Alright then! See you later." She says with a smile as she walks away, Isen and Blyke following her. I turn to my right to meet the gaze of a very suspicious John and a laughing Ashlyn. "What the fuck does your "Search" mean? and why at Night?" He says giving me that suspicious look. "No no no, Believe me, it's not what you think. She wants me to help her find clues about the people who murdered her brother." I say to which his eyes widened. "Her brother is MURDERED?" He asks and I just nod. "Yeah... and please calm down. I don't want the School press writing an article about me and Remi being vigilantes." I say as I nervously smile.

"YOU WILL BE A VIGILANTE?" John yells yet again so I smack his head. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU ARE GOING TO EXPOSE US BEFORE WE EVEN DO ANYTHING." I say whispering. John then puts a hand on his mouth and looks around then sigh. "And you are starting this tomorrow?" He says as I nod. "Then... I'll come too." He says and I just nod in refusal. "No, You can't do that. remember that there are people who are after Seraphina. Even if she is safe in school and she still has her ability, You two need to be together also, I cannot allow you to put yourself in danger. And I'm more than capable of handling this on my own." I say as he just sighs and nods. "Fine... but take care okay?" He says clearly worried. 

"What are you? his girlfriend?" Ashlyn asks with a sassy look. We both look at her. "Shut up." We say in unison.

[ARTHUR]

I hand Candice some sandwiches that Emma prepared. "Now eat. You haven't eaten in a very long time for normal humans to handle." I say looking at her. She takes the plate with an angered expression. "So... what are you going to do now? You must understand, You have no chance against them. Even their maid could put you in such a bad position." I say to which I swear I could see a vein pop in her head. "COULD YOU QUIT REMINDING ME?" she says as she takes a bite of her sandwich. I giggle and sigh then continue speaking. "Listen, Candice, for what I'm saying right now is the truth. Orrin doesn't care about any of us. He only uses us for his own benefit." I say as She takes another bite.

"So what?" She says looking away. To which I raise an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" I ask. "Why should I care if he uses me? He took me when I had no one. Why should I question him? Why should I care?" She says as she looks at me with fierce eyes. "But... he is only using you... he doesn't want you to be happy." I say as I look at her. "You can't change my mind, Terrence." She says as she finishes eating. I sigh and decide to leave her. 

"I hope you change your mind soon, Candice..." I say as I walk out of the basement and lock the door. Immediately after that, I hear our door opening indicating the return of Ashlyn and Grey. "So you guys are back? after leaving me to babysit our 'Prisoner'" I say to which they both give me a light laugh. "So? How is your talk going?" Grey asks and I sigh. "It's not going too well. But I promise to try my best." I reply and then Grey nods. "You don't have to go so hard on yourself. It's not your fault she won't listen" Ashlyn says as she pats my back.

"Ashlyn. Tomorrow when I go with Remi. I want you to not come with me." Grey says to which Ashlyn raises an eyebrow. "Why? didn't we agree that I should come with you?" Ashlyn says clearly angry. "I know but this is the best option, we don't know if they could attack us here. I know they don't have our location but they could somehow get here. so I want you to protect the prisoner and I believe Emma won't be enough to handle their damper." Grey says as Ashlyn just shuts up because Grey threw facts at her.

"I'll see what I can do..." Ashlyn says...
