An apology?

[Boy's dorm]

I wake up from one of my nightmares. They aren't coming as much lately but they are definitely still there. I try to avoid thinking about it to stop these nightmares but it seems It will take a while before these nightmares go away. My roommate Blyke has been pretty friendly I don't really know if it's because I'm stronger than him - I haven't said it in his face - But I think he might have like figured that out from my attitude. Or he might be just being nice to me in general. I'm trying to not be suspicious of everyone. But I'm not repeating the "Arlo incident" again. Everyone needs to know their boundaries. They must know that I'm not to be missed.

But, that's not the time for this. Now it's time for me something for me to eat. I get up and walk to the small kitchen near the bathroom. But then I hear the click of a door as Blyke walks in. "Oh, Hey John. You are up early." He says as he yawns. "Well, I could say the same thing about you. I'm making something for me to eat. Want something to eat as well?" I ask. "Well, wait you can cook? I have been living on instant noodles all this time." He says.  But suddenly I notice some scars on his hands. "Uh... what injured you that bad? two days ago you were fine." I ask as he looks nervously. "Uh... it was an accident... I uh... fell from a high place?" He said. "Blyke, That'll just break your bones not give you a scare. You are a terrible liar." I say. He then starts sweating profusely. "Speak up," I say giving him the mother of all death glares. Probably could rival Ashlyn's. "Well, I went with Remi and Grey on their... "Vigilante" Thing. And some unexpected shit happened. And I got injured badly." He says lifting up his shirt. Showing a deep scar on his abdomen. "The hell!? You could have fucking died." I say. "Grey said that if it wasn't for that moment I managed to get stronger I'd have died. Apparently, now I have some sort of healing factor. Nothing crazy but it will make me heal faster than normal humans. And with Grey's healing ability He managed to heal me as well." Blyke says. I sigh and prepare some Omurice for me and him. 

We sit down and start eating. "Damn John, this is so good." He says as he's having his mouth full. "Glad you liked it..." I say as I eat. After a while, we finish the food and get ready for the school day. The day started pretty normal/boring. The first class was fucking math, I tried my best not to leave the class since If I don't attend those classes I'll be fucked at the exams. After an hour-long lesson class was over and I quickly rushed out of the class. "Uh, I should probably find Sera." I thought to myself as I kept looking for her. She should be out of class by now. Suddenly I see Him again - Arlo - He was walking while looking at the ground. He seemed nervous or concerned about something. He just seemed uneasy. My mind goes back to when he spoke with me and Seraphina yesterday. "Could he really be thinking about 'Being better'?" I thought to myself. He looks at me and our eyes meet. I decided to not speak and walk past him but he stopped me. "I'm sorry." He says as he continues walking. I decided to not respond and continue on my way. Luckily I saw Seraphina quite quickly.

"Hey John, You look a bit bothered. Is something wrong?" She asks. "Nah, Not a big deal. I just met Asslo. He 'Apologized' for what he did." I say nonchalantly. "Uh... I guess that's good...?" She says. "Well, It kinda doesn't work like that Sera," I say giving her a deadpan look. "I can't fucking ambush you and say... "I'm sorry" After doing it," I reply. "I guess you are right. Now let's not talk about Asslo for the time being." She says with a devilish smirk. I immediately realize what she is going to say. "Don't tell me..." I say as she cuts me off. "Yes... I broke my last record in Angry Pigs." She says with her devilish smirk. "FUCK! I was so close to breaking your last record." I say as I act like I'm crying in a dramatic way. I hear her giggle loudly. "Can't you just copy my ability and do what I do? You'll probably be able to break my record if you do that." She says. "I guess that would work but... I don't think I'd like to copy your ability. She looks at me deadpan "Why? Is my ability bad?" She asks. "No no, it's very overpowered, However, I just don't like the idea of me copying your ability, makes me feel uncomfortable."

"Well suit yourself. But don't come crying after I destroy this record too." She says with a grin. "Oh shut up!" I say as we both giggle and go to the roof.

[GREY]

"Dad, are you really sure about this?" I ask. "Of course I am, I want to meet the son of my friend," Dad says as we drive to Wellston. Me, Ashlyn, and Arthur took this day off because Dad wanted us to drive him to Wellston Highschool since he's never been there before."But John hasn't even seen you before," I say trying to argue. "We'll he's gonna do now." He says as I give up on this argument and decide to roll with it. We arrive at Wellston and we get out of the car.

"So this is Wellston huh... seems pretty neat," Dad says. "Well, it's one of if not the best school in this entire region," Ashlyn says. To which Dad just nods as we enter through the gates. Kids were everywhere because this is the end of the school day. Luckily we found John and Seraphina relatively quickly as they were walking towards the gate probably because they want to go to Woaba boba or something. They immediately spotted us and waved at us.

"Oh boy... this is gonna be awkward." I thought to myself...
