I saw Rei... He is alive... or at least... that's what I believe is going on... But how? I saw it on the news. He was dead. What did they do to him? How did they manage to make Rei their puppet? I kept crying and crying nonstop. Almost as If I have a panic attack. My breathing kept going heavier and heavier. I could hear Blyke and Isen trying to speak to me. But I was as if I was in another universe. I couldn't hear anything, In fact, I couldn't see anything from the tears filling my eyes.

 It hurt, however, slowly I started to feel dizzy as I started losing consciousness. I saw everything black. I don't know what kind of dream is this. It was suffocating. I kept walking aimlessly, trying to find anything. The place was completely dark. I couldn't even see the floor or whatever thing I was walking on. I kept going on and on. Until I saw something or someone. I got closer trying to focus more on the man before me. 

The man was wearing black pants and a gray shirt with long sleeves. The shirt was tight, showing the man's muscular physique. The man turned around showing me his face, It was Rei. "Remi..." Rei said getting closer to me with his calm gentle eyes. Tears formed in my eyes. Even though I know this is all a dream. Seeing him in front of me was too much for me. "Rei..." I hug him. But suddenly I feel some liquid dripping on my hair, I back away and Look at Rei's face. His eyes changed. His mouth dripping with blood. Then behind him, I see a woman with blond hair. The woman who we saw before standing behind Rei, Stabbing him with her claws killing him in front of me. I screamed, Rei's eyes were dripping blood. His face turned pale.

I woke up... 

I slowly opened my eyes. Feeling a hand caressing my face. I look at the person doing this. It was Grey. "Wake up, Remi." He says whipping the tears in my eyes. Apparently, I was crying in the real world while I was dreaming. "I slowly get up, Looking around me. I see that we are currently in my room. Blyke was on a couch, unconscious. Isen was sitting beside him, His eyes showed marks of tears. I wondered what has happened. My eyes went to the last person in the room. Who made my jaw open wide. It was Rei... not the illusion in my dream, it was him. Rei is alive... "REI!" I yelled getting out of my bed quickly. However, I fell on my face my nose smashing against the ground making me feel incredible pain. Grey helped me up. "Easy there shrimp," Rei says smiling as he looks at me. I hugged him as hard as I could. Tears formed again in my eyes. But this time. It was tears of joy. 

"Uh, Remi I don't want to disturb this reunion but Uh, you are crushing him, and uh... He isn't in the best shape." I hear Grey saying this and I quickly stop hugging him so hard. "Sorry..." I say smiling nervously. Rei smiles at me, "It's okay Remi." Rei said. "Where were you Rei? What happened to you?" I ask looking at him. "Yeah, I'd want to know that too." Grey also asked sitting on a chair near my bed. Rei sighs deeply. "That night, When I went with Kuyo to Lovun. We encountered one of their Agents. Brims, I along with Kuyo's help managed to overpower him, However, we didn't put into account the interference of another one of their Agents, Volcan. She was stronger than Brims. Or to be exact more skilled. With his help, she managed to completely destroy us. I got stabbed in my stomach by her Flame Claws. They were going after Kuyo too, But I used the last bit of my energy to unleash a lightning field around me. Paralyzing both of them temporarily. But losing my consciousness in the process. I woke up many hours later. I was chained, Basically unable to move. A man who was fairly tall entered the room. He wore a lab coat. He approached me. "So you are finally awake?" He said giving me a malicious grin. "You kids are too proud of your abilities that you feel invincible don't you?" He said while looking at me. After that, he took a mask thing from a shelf full of similar masks and put it on my face. after that, I lost all connections to reality. " Rei says.

We all went silent then Grey pulled out a bag and took a broken mask from the bag. "It's this mask isn't it?" Grey asked to which Rei just nods. "This mask is the reason for your... weird mindless behavior before. Apparently, it produces some sort of wave that takes control of your mind. Or more like tricking your brain into doing things without you having any will at all. It's using your subconscious. However, I can't confirm anything yet. I'll have to visit a certain friend of ours." Grey says putting the mask back into his bag. "You mean Sophie?" Rei asks then Grey nods. I look at the two trying to process what in the actual world I just heard. "Then how was Rei so strong when we fought him? I get his strange behavior but... He wasn't this strong before he got captured by them." I ask trying to find an answer. "I have a theory, Rei could you activate your ability for a few seconds," Grey asks while he activates his own ability. Rei nods and activates his ability. He grits his teeth apparently feeling pain. "Turn it off now," Grey says as Rei obeys. "Just as I thought. They amplified your ability. Basically, you are now around 11.6 which is completely dangerous. So I advise you never to activate your ability until the amplifier effects wear off. Because if you don't... Your aura channels will be destroyed. You'll become a cripple forever." Grey says with a serious tone. Rei only nods. "Remi, I know this is weird but. Can I use your bathroom? I think I'll need to take a bath." Grey asks. "Uh? Sure. But why?" I ask him. 

"Uh, Ashlyn called me while we were on my way back and... My father is home so..." He says giving me an "I'm fucked" look.
