Secrets.

[Location: John's House]

Grey agreed to stay with us and so did Ashlyn. Seraphina wanted to go back to the dorms but I still managed to convince her to stay for the night. And I decided to make something for us to eat.

"But John..." Seraphina said when I was going to the kitchen. "Yeah?" I replied. "How did you know we were being followed?" Seraphina asked, my heart skipped a beat as I didn't think of an answer beforehand, I cannot reveal my ability to her, At least not yet. "Uh, Just a hunch?" I replied, which didn't seem to convince her but she shrugged it off, but Grey and Ashlyn were giving me a weird look.

I went to the kitchen and started making sandwiches, But Grey followed me saying he will help me cook. "Alright, let's begin!" I said with enthusiasm. "You were lying aren't you? " Grey said, and my heart almost stopped. "W-What do you mean?" I said. "You are not a cripple, you knew where he was exactly and you knew we were being followed, it cannot be just a hunch," Grey said with a serious tone.

"I... I don't..." I said but Grey cut me off. "Look, I'm not gonna force anything on you, but I just wanna know why? Why would you lie about having an ability? You are a high-tier since whatever ability you have it allowed you to see him even though your eyes weren't glowing meaning that had to do with your passive." Grey said.

I was at loss for words, I didn't know how to get out of this situation and my heart started to beat like crazy. "I don't know what to say..." I said in shaken tone. "Then don't, I don't care really. I just wanted to know why would you lie to us, but it seems you don't wanna talk about it." Grey replied as he started to cook and so did I. While we were finishing off, I decided to talk, "Can you please not tell Seraphina about this?". "I already said that I won't force anything on you, but I have to tell you something, If you don't tell her yourself and she found out like I did... She might not react in the same way as you two have known each other for quite some time now." Grey said, I couldn't find anyway to argue with what he said.

As it all was true, Me hiding everything from Seraphina might cause a lot of problems if she ever found out on her own but.. I just can't do that... not now at least. "I know all that, but I can't tell her just yet." I said.

"Well, I don't really understand why but I promise I won't do anything to expose your secret, but you need to know that secrets are fragile and can be easily exposed." Grey said, I only gave a slight nod and we held the plates with sandwiches and went back to the living room.

"Took you long enough..." Ashlyn and Seraphina said in union, "Oh Shut up!" Grey said as he sat on the couch and putted the sandwiches on the table. We ate and then we went to sleep as we were so exhausted, Grey and I slept in the living room on the couches, While Ashlyn and Seraphina slept in my room, I'm afraid that these  two are getting more accustomed to each other really fast and that is terrifying.

I woke and found that John was still sleeping, it was 6:am so we had like 2 hours to go to school. I called Ashlyn to wake her up and told her that we need to leave as we didn't have our school uniform with us, so we have to go home take a shower and dress up before we can go to school. After 5 minutes she came and we were ready to go I left John a message on ShatUP to tell him that I and Ashlyn already left so he doesn't freak out since we left really early.

Me and Ashlyn arrived at our home and finished everything up, Then we went to school, It was now around 7:45 so the first class should start after a while, I was walking in the halls when I suddenly saw two boys fighting a red hair and an... orange and black hair? How did you pull that one out? Dye? Anyways they were making a ton of noise and blocking the way. "Hey you two, if you wanna fight go outside!" I said, "Oh yeah? And what will you do about it if we don't?" They said in union.

"I'll kick your asses of course. " I said with a nonchalant tone. "Oh really? Why don't your try then?" The red hair said  as he gave a light smirk. I activated my ability and shot each of them with 5 lightning beams that knocked them to the ground as the pain made them unable to move but to my surprise, they were still awake. "You're pretty tough guys huh?" I said, they didn't respond as they were too embarrassed to talk. "Amazing! You took down two of Wellston's most powerful students!" Someone said so I looked at him to find it was Arlo the school king.

"Yeah? What if I did?" I said nonchalantly. "Well that makes you now the school's Jack as you had just beaten the school's Jack." He said with a smile on his face I don't know if that was a genuine smile or if he was playing tricks on me. "Yeahh.. sorry my guy, not interested I just did that to silence them a bit." I said still keeping my nonchalant tone and that seemed to irritate him a bit. I found this conversation useless and I walked off to my class.

Suddenly I saw that now I was in some yellow barrier thing. "Maybe I'll have to teach you the rules around here." Arlo said.

[ARLO]

I putted my barrier Grey and I started to do my classic move of shrinking my barrier to make my opponent kneel before me, but as it was shrinking on him I see some sort of black and white barrier with some lightning and it had spikes around it stopping my barrier, the spikes broke my barrier and i suddenly took a ton of damage which made me fall down.

"You..." Grey said before he started walking towards me. Every one else was in class -except for blyke and Isen of course- as class had already started 10 minutes ago. Grey lifted my hair up to make me look at him,"I'll let you off this time, but If you ever tried to do anything funny again, I won't be so merciful." Grey said, then he activated his ability and went to class.

"What the hell was that? Did he just... copy my ability? Or did he have a similar one?" Various thoughts invaded my mind as I went to infirmary to heal up after telling Blyke and Isen to keep this a secret.
