Kenji stood up walking over to us, he shook my dad's and brother's hands then looked over at me "Enya, it's lovely to see you again"
I gave him a hug and he hugged me back "It's good seeing you too"
I always had a big respect for Kenji, he had a big hand in saving our lives. He went against his brother's beliefs and put himself in the line of fire. It wasn't a known fact, but our family knew. I know we all had a hand in taking down Kaito but I just thought it was admirable what Kenji did.
We sat down "I must say I wasn't expecting your father and brother to bring you. Not with all of the attacks at least" He looked at me then my dad and brother "I spoke with Pavel, they just had an attack too"
"Brandon has someone working to see who's all in agreement with them. It'll take a while, a month at least" My brother said.
Kenji nodded his head and then looked at my dad "A month is a long time Matteo"
"Are you having that much trouble?" My dad asked deeming bored
"No, my nephew has a good hand on it but even he can only do so much."
"Your sons not involved," Alonzo said rubbing his chin "I forgot"
"I didn't know that," I said
"I let Ryu make his own choices. He's not too interested in this life, he helps when he wants to. He just prefers video games to the actual thing" he chuckled. "Eziō is good at his job so I don't bother him too much"
"We can think about stationing some men here," Alonzo said "Enya is picky about who comes and goes in her warehouse so it would have to be someone from mine"
Kenji looked at me smiling "Picky?"
"She's like Tina," my dad said "Runs a tight ship," he said proudly and I bit my cheek so I wouldn't smile so hard.
"How is Tina? Still dead?" Kenji asked
"Dead and happy. Best thing we could've done for those two" my brother said.
I looked at Kenji and he seemed nervous "Is everything okay Kenji?"
He tapped his fingers on the table "I need to get better at that"
I raised my eyebrow at him "Better at what?"
"Would you mind if I spoke to your brother and father alone?"
"Yes-"
"Go on Enya," my brother said and both my dad and me looked at him.
I looked at my dad and then at Alonzo. I didn't want to seem like a brat or make them look bad in front of Kenji so I just got up.
