michael and ace got almost nothing done on saturday. they mostly just hung out and talked, lounging around michael's room, and only came down once luke called for dinner. before they knew it, liam was there with his pick up truck, honking and yelling at ace to get inside.

luke sat at the dining table with a wine glass in hand, carding his hand through his blond hair.

"lukey?" michael called, sitting down in front of him. louis was in his bedroom, doing god knows what, and so the couple was left alone downstairs.

"mmm." luke mumbled, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

michael kissed his dominate's cheek. "are you feeling okay?"

"just tired, kitten." a familiar sleepiness rang in his tone and he closed his eyes.

"okay."

"come here."

michael climbed into his daddy's lap, resting his head on his chest and breathing in his welcoming scent.

they stayed like that for awhile, until a small 'ding' sounded from luke's phone and he picked it up.

he looked at the bright screen for a second before sighing.

"what is it?" michael asked.

"nothing, baby." luke breathed, patting michael on the back and signaling for him to get off. "go to bed."

luke paced around his bedroom.

ashton kissed him.

and although he felt nothing towards the older boy, it still made him confused.

because he let it happen. even for a couple of seconds, the kiss shared between them still existed.

he thought he could forget about the whole situation by being next to michael, but he only felt even more guilty. he just had to be alone to clear his head.

on top of the kiss, luke received a text message from calum downstairs.

let's meet up at the coffee shop sometime soon? I feel like I haven't seen you in ages (:

usually, luke would be delighted by the idea of seeing calum. but should he?

luke groaned, falling back on his bed. he was just so damn confused.

he liked calum; he trusted calum. that's all that mattered, right?

maybe he should see calum soon. it would get his mind off of everything happening.

that sounded good. he'd be with calum and michael and everything would be okay. he didn't have to worry about ashton because he wouldn't have to see him anymore.

no more ashton.

and luke would be just fine.
