...

a month after they find out they're expecting.

there's a small but firm bump on michael's tummy. the baby's eyes are nothing but dimples in its' skin. the baby has very tiny limbs, with almost no muscle filling it in, there's only a layer of skin and bone. the baby is extremely fragile, but is growing stronger each day. for michael, days are painless and almost fun. michael is far from the worst parts of the pregnancy. (remember that it takes only around four months for a hybrid to deliver, so this is completely normal. a.k.a. the baby is healthy ((: )

"mikey, precious, it's breakfast time." luke cooed as his love rubbed his eyes, slowly waking up. michael sat up, kissed luke on the lips and followed him downstairs.

ever since they found out they were expecting, luke has been heavily spoiling michael. michael has only been sleeping in luke's bed, only been eating his favorite foods, and has never left luke's side. luke found it was the only reasonable way to treat his princess. his attitude towards michael is always gentle and kind, and a bit different than before they found out.

however, michael's been acting differently as well. if he doesn't get what he wants he often whines, knowing luke would be happy to give him whatever it is. he likes it when luke spoiled him. he couldn't  imagine anyone else for him except luke.

after eating, luke led michael back upstairs and into their room where they cuddled and talked for hours. they talked to each other a lot about the baby. what they might look like. how they might act. they discussed what the baby's room would look like. names. they talked for hours about everything, and luke felt so close to him. luke had his family.

"lukey?" michael mewled as they cuddled.

"yes, precious?"

michael had realized the nickname that luke had called him ever since he got back. ever since that night and all the weeks after, 'precious' seemed like his actual name. he got such a warm feeling when luke called him that, and cuddled closer to him with a warm smile cast upon his lips.

"blue eyes? or green?" michael asked quietly.

"I'd love for them to have your eyes, honestly." as luke admitted this he drew back to look into michael's eyes. "your eyes hold worlds beneath them. they're bright. and beautiful... and breathtaking." the blond stopped for a second and sighed. "they reflect you."

michael turned pink. luke really knew how to make him feel special.

"I love you, luke."

"I love you even more, precious."

two(ish) months into the pregnancy.

the bump on michaels tummy is noticeably bigger now, and very round. the baby inside him is much stronger, sometimes michael can even feel them softly kicking and hiccuping. their bones are fully formed, and their eyes are more than just sockets. their hands have formed into tiny fists and more muscle has formed on their body. however, they're still very small and fragile and have a lot more growing to do.

luke decided to treat michael out to donuts and ice cream once they reached the second month after finding out. they were currently at their first stop, a small ice cream shop that seemed to have, like, three flavors.

"lukey... can't we go to a different store?" michael whined, kitten eyes glossed and pouting. luke wasn't buying it, though and he shook his head, waiting for michael to pick out his flavor. michael stomped his foot down, saying his favorite flavor wasn't there.

luke looked around the store; it was practically empty. there was a young couple, probably fifteen or sixteen and on their second sloppy date, as well as two employees. maybe this ice cream shop wasn't as good as he thought

"fine, precious. let's go."

michael's eyes lit up, "yay! thanks, lukeyy."

luke rolled his eyes, but took michel by the hand and led him out the shop. he drove an extra fifteen minutes to the next ice cream store and brought michael inside. after quietly picking out his favorite flavor, and luke picking out plain vanilla, the couple walked out in search for a donut shop.

okay, so maybe donuts and ice cream weren't the most healthy choice, but michael was craving it and luke wanted to spoil his baby... as usual. and so what, sometimes michael did act like a spoiled brat, luke knew it was because his hormones were imbalanced. his mood, his actions... they were bound to change.

the pair went home full and happy. ashton and louis came over and hung out, despite their problematic past. luke could really tell they loved each other. ashton and luke made up, forgetting about all that happened and catching up with whatever was happening in their lives.

since it was evident michael was pregnant, luke got that out of the way soon after ashton stepped into their house. ashton was happy for them, to say the least. and ashton even admitted to them that they've been trying to get pregnant as well. louis hid into ashton's chest with pink cheeks. luke was happy for them. and everything went back to normal.
