...

michael knew calum would want him to wake up early the next morning, so he wasn't surprised when he heard a very obnoxiously alarm sound in the morning. he slammed a tired fist down to shut it up and went downstairs for breakfast.

"morning, baby boy." calum greeted him with a smile. "sit. I made you scrambled eggs."

michael took a seat next to britt, who was eying him with an obvious disgust.

"go take a shower after breakfast, okay? we'll be leaving for school in around an hour."

michael nodded as he finished up his small plate of food, walking back upstairs without a word and turning on the shower.

he stepped in, sighing as the hot water hit his back.

he could stand a week of this. maybe.

"turns out he does." ace said quietly as he walked michael to class.

"what? he wants kids?" michael's mouth drops and his eyes widen, "w-wait, wait, how did you ask him? and I mean exact words, ace!"

"okay, calm down." ace chuckles, "during dinner I asked 'what do you think of having children?' and he talked for a good thirty minutes on how he wants to have kids sometime."

"dang. w-well, I mean, do you wanna have kids? like, you're still in high school."

ace nods, "that's what I said. liam told me he wouldn't want me to get pregnant this early, but in, like, two or three years or so."

"but that doesn't explain why you limp to school almost everyday."

"shut up, michael!"

they neared michael's classroom and ace pushed him in playfully, michael still teasing him a bit.

history class went on, then the class after that, and so on. soon it was the end of the school day and michael slung his backpack over his shoulders and trudged towards the tree. he saw britt walking up to him and froze.

"michael. we meet calum at the back of the school. come on."

soon he's being pulled by a very strong britt across the courtyard and they end up in the back parking lot, where calum's car is parked.

calum is leaned up against his silver hummer, his signature sunglasses resting on his tan cheekbones and his plump lips looking almost irresistible.

"there you two are." he muttered, "get in."

michael gets into the hummer next to britt and sets his backpack in front of him.

"michael. I need to talk to you once we get home. my bedroom."

there's an unknown emotion michael cannot track in calum's voice and it scared him.

"yes, sir." he mumbled.

calum takes a turn michael isn't familiar with and before he knows it britt is getting out the car.

"I'll see you tomorrow, b." he said, making sure the door was shut before driving away.

"sir?" michael's voice shakes. "why is britt leaving?"

"she's sleeping over at one of her friends house tonight, princess."

michael nodded, and soon enough they were parked in front of calum's house. michael stepped out, slinging his backpack over his shoulder again.

"my room. five minutes." calum orders as he unlocks the door and immediately walks to the kitchen.
