Chapter 13-Sportsfest, The Three Prodigies
3rd person POV
Days passed, it's already sportsfest. Rayleigh already put together a simple plan, he was very nervous to be alone in the crowd. This was the day he needs to be careful, he must be very careful not to bump into the main villain.
"Today is the day." he sighed as he petted the white rabbit.
He decided to bring the little boy along just to make him a little comfortable at this event. Fortunately for him, his family allowed him to keep the rabbit.
Rayleigh walks around the area, picking up some delicious food he found, he even bought a few things as souvenirs. He silently eats his cotton candy as he watches the people around me. It makes him a little calm seeing their happy and cheerful faces. Rayleigh could feel a few leering glances from other students as they watched him pass, but he was too distracted to even notice them. His mind was filled with thoughts of how to avoid the main village. And, in part, he's also distracted about how wonderfully everyone at the academy has designed this school. Rayleigh was a little disappointed that phones don't exist here, he couldn't take photos as a souvenir.
While Rayleigh was walking around enjoying the view, there were quite a few people who were walking around the area, also enjoying the view, events and delicious food. The three stop to buy ice cream. "Wow, the sports festival today looks livelier than last year past." Gail praised while eating her ice cream with an expression doll face.
"Indeed. This year's designers seem to be really passionate about their work. Not only that, the activities here are surprisingly fun." commented Jerissa. She takes the ice cream that was just given to her by the vendor and then she looks at the man between them. "What do you think Terry? For you, this event is much better than before?" she asks.
The silver haired man breaks out of his thoughts and looks at Jerissa. His beautiful heterochromic eyes stare into hers and take a moment to answer the question. The man couldn't get enough sleep last night so he feels sleepy.
"Yes I think." the man says lazily. "It's a shame that I be too tired to participate in activities." "Terry, how many times did I tell you to go to bed early last night? Our gang needs you because you're great at strategizing. You're the reason our class wins so many times over." Gail looks at Terry with a serious expression.
"You better not ditch class or else you'll be my guinea pig tomorrow." Jerissa warned.
"Fine, fine. I won't." Terry sighed. As they went back on their way, strolling through the area, Terry saw a handsome young man, who was eating some cotton candy. He has pink hair, beautiful smooth skin, and bold gray eyes. He walks gracefully with a white rabbit on his shoulder. Terry was so mesmerized by her beauty that he didn't even realize he was already apart from his friends.
"I remember him. He's the guy I put flowers on. I was bored back then and had nothing to do. I played with his hair to kill time... And that was very childish of me. Terry thought , remembering the scene where he placed flowers on Rayleigh's head.
He felt a little guilty about doing these things to a sleeping person. But he admits that the pink haired guy was hilarious with those flowers.
Terry approaches the person, but he suddenly stopped when he saw Psyche appearing out of nowhere. The handsome man was a little uncomfortable with his presence, but he still allowed the man to go with him.
Terry watched the two disappear from the crowd. He decided not to chase the pink haired beauty and just get back with his friends. Unfortunately, Jerissa and Gail were nowhere to be seen.
