After my talk with Ed, I went home. I placed the pieces of my laptop on the table and snapped some pictures of them. I sent them to Hugo and called him.
"What did you do with your laptop Rose?" Hugo asked responding my call.
"I dropped it from the stairs." I sighed hating that I was lying to him, but he wouldn't understand. Nor would he understand if I would go back. "Do you think it is fixable?"
"I need to see it up close, but I'm afraid not."
"Yeah, I thought so too."
"Do you have a lot on the hard drive?"
"Luckily not, almost everything important is on the cloud. Like you told me to do."
"Good, that you listened. When I'm home I will look at it."
"Thank you, Hugo. How is work?"
"Hectic, I'm going to sleep for a week when it's over." He chuckled.
I laughed "probably yeah."
We talked for a little while longer till he left for dinner. I took my other scripts and started reading. I called one of the writers, to go through the changes he had made and after that I called it a day. I changed into my pajamas and made myself dinner. Later that evening I decided to see a movie and made some popcorn. Flopping down on the couch with a blanket and Sansa I watched a movie.

Thursday started without anything uneventful. In the morning I had sent a text to Gail, excusing myself that I couldn't visit Lucas today. She texted me back that she understood. I sent one to Thorn telling him that I couldn't go to Lucas today, due to work. And that he liked the Chinese food that I brought him.
I went to lunch with the team, and I listened to the others talking about their kids. We enjoyed our lunch on the terrace now that it was getting warmer again.
After lunch Laure came in with a package "Rose, this was just delivered for you."
"I didn't order anything." I stood up and opened the package. A brand-new MacBook Pro came out.
"Wow Rose." Laura said impressed.
"I didn't order this."
"Wait" she walked back out and came in with a man.
"I didn't order this." I said again to him.
"No, Lucas Rutherford did. Justin asked me to deliver it here."
"I can't accept this." I told the man.
"It's paid miss. I can't take it back with me. If you don't want it, I suggest you talk to Mr. Rutherford about it."
I huffed "fine. Thanks." He nodded and left.
"Are you going to give it back?" Laura asked.
"Of course, this is way too expensive. I can't accept this."
