He wasn't fine with it at all, it was clear on his face. I let it slide, we will see what would happen or not between us in the future. I went home not long after our talk, I didn't want to get so close to him like I did before. I needed to keep some distance. He seemed disappointed and I told him that I needed some errands to run. He didn't believe me but let it slide, he hugged me tight and gave me a lingering kiss on my cheek.

The next couple of days I worked a bit harder so that I could be more present for Ivy. She and Mia spent the day in some sort of farm camp. Wednesday evening, I passed by Justin and Ivy's place, and he showed me around the house, explained how everything worked and Ivy's routine.

Thursday (August 12) Justin had dropped Ivy off at her camp this morning and I was now on my way to pick her up. She looked at me and came running up to me and jumped in my arms. "How was your day, Ivy?" I asked her.

"Great, we helped feeding."

"What kind of animals did you feed?"

"Chickens, goats, pigs and a cat."

"That's nice. Ready to go home?" I asked her.

"Yes."

Babysitting Ivy was like a little party. Friday, I picked her back up and we went to the grocery store after we had decided what we wanted to eat this weekend. "Can I invited someone over this weekend Rose?" She asked when we were back home.

"Uh, who do you want to invite?"

"Mia and Olive?"

I nodded because I liked that idea. "I give them a call."

And that's how we spent the rest of the weekend with the four off us. Mia and Ivy were playing together while Olive and I spent time together.

"I love this house." Olive said after I had showed her around and we took a seat outside.

"Me too, so close to the beach. This would be a dream come through. I would get up early every day and go surfing before work."

Olive laughed and took a sip of her tea. We sat on the terrace where we could keep an eye on the girls.

"How are you, Olive?" I asked her.

"Good a bit better, I'm glad that I told you. Some days I'm fine, others not so much." she shrugged.

"Have you heard from him after you left?"

"2 days after I left him yes, he called me. Demanded to come back. He even treated me with a lawsuit."

"Really?"

She nodded "I called my lawyer, and we went together to his parents. They were surprised to see me. After I told them everything that happened, they were very quiet. Then they offered me money to keep quiet. I hadn't the impression they believed me."
