She looked at me like I had grown a second head "Uh... I'm sure that one of your friends would want to help you. I don't want to attend your sister's wedding uninvited."

"You will be my plus one." I said, with no room for argument.

"Fine, but you need a haircut." She narrowed her eyes at my hair.

"I will, once I'm home."

"Okay, how fancy is it going to be? I need to see if I have a dress in my closet that ..."

"I will buy one for you. Don't worry about it." She scowled at that, remarkable I thought, Hailey would have asked for shoes and extras. "Rose, you did already so much for me, let me give you this?"

"Fine." She muttered not impressed.

"Now watch this movie with me."

"What is the movie about?"

"No idea." I said while I took another piece of pizza.

When the movie ended, she stood up "I'm going home, I'm tired." She did look tired.

"Of course, see you tomorrow?"

She shook her head, and disappointment fell over me "probably not, I'm sleeping in. And in the afternoon, I'm seeing my family."

"Next week maybe."

"Yeah. See you later." She came closer to my face, and I wondered what she was doing when I felt her soft lips kiss my cheek. She kissed my scar like it wasn't there at all. She walked away but I needed to ask one more question before she was gone.

"Does Hugo know that you visit me?" I asked her when she was almost out the room.

"No, not yet."

"I'm your guilty pleasure." I smirked.

"Guilty maybe, pleasure not that much on most days" She smirked at me and walked out.

Well, that was unexpected, but I couldn't hold back my laugh hearing her reply, it was so honest and even a bit funny.
