Where is Alex... This was the place he was hidden! There was blood on the floor board from where you'd hit your toe! "Y/N?! Why'd you rip up the floor?!" Freddy seemed astonished by your behavior. You couldn't believe it... The body of Alex was gone, "H- He was right here!" Freddy seemed confused by who "he" was.
"Who was right here, Y/N?!" You and Freddy were both frantic, you because a literal corpse had vanished, Funtime Freddy because you were acting off. "Alex! Alex was right here! I found his body under the floor!" Freddy was silent. He looked at you then the ripped up floor... He started to laugh slightly, "Y/N..." He said gently, "Alex ran away and hasn't come back, I'm sure that it was just a bad dream, stress can do that!"
He didn't believe you... Why didn't he believe you?! "I know what I saw! He was right here! He looked like he'd fallen down ten flights of stairs! His eyes were missing! He..." You started to question if you'd really seen that... Why would he have been under the floor? Who would've even put him there?! Why would you smell coffee? Why would he have been so contorted...
"I guess it was just a dream..." You said in defeat. Freddy patted you on the back with a smile on his face, "Come on Y/N! It's about time you ate something!" He turned on his heels and walked down the stairs. You began putting the floor boards back into place.... You smelled nothing but dust. No coffee scent, no rotting flesh aroma...
You fixed the floor as if nothing had happened. You walked down two steps at a time to quicken your pace. Freddy was making pancakes while you sat at the counter, watching. It was just a dream... but it felt real... Freddy placed the pancakes in front of you. The scent made your mouth water... You'd forgotten how hungry you were and within minutes, the stack of pancakes had vanished.
You felt better, much better! You got up and cleaned your plate in the sink, making sure the plastic was spotless. Well you had hours to kill! What could you do? You went up to your room and sat on the floor as you began to mindlessly draw. Well you thought it was mindless... But you looked at it and saw that horrific Freddy imposter!
You ripped up the page and threw it out. It was only a nightmare! Nothing more... What were you to do now? You'd been doing nothing but staying home all summer so far! Why don't you go do something? Even something simple... The park seemed great! You grabbed a mini backpack and put a handful of snacks in it as well as your phone and you decided to carry your laptop with you!
"Hey lambchop!" Freddy called out to you ass he swung the door open dramatically, "What are you doing?" He asked, eyeing your bag, "Oh- Just going out for a bit Freddy! I won't be gone long!" You reassured him, "Only about an hour or two!" Freddy sighed, looking at the ground. He seemed hurt that you'd choose to go to the park.
"Okay Y/N... But be safe!" He pointed a finger at you accusingly, raising one brow. "Okay, Okay! I will!" You giggled and put your bag over your shoulders. You stepped closer to Freddy and hugged him just below his metal chest, at first he hadn't returned the affectionate gesture, but he'd soon cave in.
He wrapped his arms around your waist, making your face heat up slightly. His grip was gentle but firm... You almost wanted him to tell you that you were his. No! That's a robot! He probably can't feel romantic attraction anyways... Or could he? You could worry about it later. Freddy finally allowed you to leave so you started walking down the sidewalk and to the park!
You found a perfect spot! It was shady, right next to the small lake, and it was warm! You deeply enjoyed the fresh air, getting lost in your thoughts as the birds hummed a song... If only Freddy were here to see this. You pulled out your phone, put in your headphones, and started listening to a podcast that a friend had recommended before the summer began.
It was a murder podcast, yes, but the soft background music was starting to make you drowsy... There was a loud ringing in your ears that suddenly cut your relaxing moment short. You jumped at the loud and unexpected before grabbing your smartphone. You caller was your mom! Why was she calling? You answered the phone call, "Hello? Mom?"
"Hey Y/N!" She said from the other side of the line, "Me and your dad are gonna stay at work a bit late, we won't be home for a while. So just behave, okay?" You sighed, well you wouldn't have to leave the park so soon anymore... Maybe this was a sign to do this more often? "Can do mom! I'll see you later on then!" You were smiling even though she couldn't see it.
You both said your goodbye's and ended the call, you looked around you. There were ducks in the water, Cyclists passing you by, the smell of flowers and something sweet, and the every so often breeze that pushed hair in your face. It was truly amazing... You decided to continue the podcast later, for now you'd simply walk maybe a lap or two around the lake! There was a path that completely circled the relatively small body of crystal blue water.
You turned on some music to motivate you before you started. The path was almost completely concrete except for a few bike trails that went down hill. You'd never been down them but you guessed that would be a story for another time... You walked a lap, then another before finally loosing steam. You drank from a water fountain to cool yourself off.
You sat back under the tree, taking deep breaths, revisiting the sweet smell of daisies. You started the podcast again, listening to every word said, every detail uttered. You were concentrated, so concentrated that you didn't notice that you were getting tired... You closed your eyes, thinking that'd somehow keep you awake, but it had the opposite effect...
