Skating! but on ice.

CHUUYA POV

Dazai is such a handful, he's like a child sometimes. I get why he's acting like that tho and I'll continue to allow him to act like that. Today is Sunday 7:30am. Dazai is doing his homework in his room and he'll tutor me in a few minutes when he's done.

"I'm done chuuya! Come inside." He yells from his room "Yeah yeah coming." I say as I open his door and head inside, I brought my pen and homework with me. We began the study session and I was happy he was here to help me and spend time with me, he was usually always so busy.b

I yawned as we finished the study session, it was 9:51am, that took awhile but I understand things better now. "Hey chuuya, we should go somewhere" he suddenly said that out of the blue. "Oh yeah? Where should we go then?" It's a surprise. I'll bring you somewhere so get ready, uhm. Wear something you'd normally wear when it's snowing or really cold but also something you'd be comfortable in and wouldn't be hurt on ice." He said "Oh uhm sure." I said as I stood up and went to the bathroom first to take a shower. Once I finished, I went out of the bathroom and went into my room. I changed my clothes accordingly to what dazai wanted, I wonder where he's taking me. I was really curious and dazai called out again. "Are ya finished chuuuyaahhh??" He said while extending out my name. I scoffed as I went out and he was literally just standing near the front door. "Yeah yeah I'm here now. Let's go to wherever you want to go."I said and I looked up to him as he was grinning and went out the front door, I followed of course.

"Where are we going by the way?" I asked, very curious. "You can guess but I'm not telling you" I clicked my tongue, he annoys me alot. I don't know why I love him, actually I do know. For a lot of reasons. "I'll just wait till we get there." "Good choice slug." I rolled my eyes at that pet name and just stared out the car window, oh right, his driver was taking us there. We finally arrived and went inside, it was a.. skating rink? Oh lord. I don't even know how to skate on ice! He knows this doesn't he? "Oi stupid mackerel! I don't know how to skate on ice." I said while scoffing. "So what? It's never too late to learn~" He said while putting his skates on. "Well.. I guess learning wouldn't hurt." I said, dazai already finished putting his skates on and so he put my skates on, without me asking him to do so. "What are you- hey what are you doing?! We're in public!" "Public? Are you scared to let people see that I'm just being sweet to you? Also, don't you see that there are no people around and that we're the only one here for today?" He chuckled as I looked around and he was right. There were no people around, this guy.. did he really do all that just for me to learn how to skate on ice and skate with him? What in the world is he thinking.

"This is also considered as a date you know chibiko-kun?~" he said as he finished putting my skates on and helping me go onto the skating rink. I was holding on to him, the surface was slippery and I could fall anytime. Just how was I supposed to learn?! "Don't be afraid chibi, you're a fast learner. You'll get this right with my help." He smiled and he let go of me "Hey! What the fuck!?" I said as I tripped and fell onto the ice, it was really cold and he just laughed at me while helping me up. Was that an attempt to get me to learn on how to skate on ice? That was horrible!
"Alright alright, jokes aside. This is how you skate chibi." He taught me the basics and some tips and tricks for me to learn faster, easier and it was really effective. I got on pretty quick and soon, it was as easy as skating on skateboards! Without the boards.. it was actually quite fun. I liked to skate now. "So this is how you skate.." I mumbled, somehow dazai was able to hear that mumble. "Yep, quite easy when you get the ropes of it right? Are you having fun chibi?" He asked and I smiled while chuckling. "Of course I'm having fun can't you see? It's pretty obvious." I scoffed but I still was smiling as I continued to skate. We had a pretty fun time and then it was time that we decided to go home.

We stopped by that cafe Naomi usually went to and got ourselves coffee. We sat down at a table and started drinking our coffee. "Did you have fun skating chuuya? I hope you did." He smiled warmly while looking at me and slowly sipping his coffee. "Yeah probably one of the best times in my life." I said while smiling happily and sipping my coffee aswell. We chatted for awhile and then finished our coffees, again, I tipped the waiters a pretty huge tip and they seemed pretty happy about it. Dazai was just smiling at me — like a creep.

"Thanks for bringing me out there today, I actually had fun." I said, genuinely meaning it. "Of course~ you needed to learn how to skate sooner or later and plus, it's been awhile since we went on a date." Of course. He just had to tease me, god there was never a moment where he could actually stay serious about things. I just laughed that off as we arrived at our dorm and unlocked the door and went inside. Our cats were waiting for us and we spent time with the cats. I fed them and played with them mostly while dazai read ( pronounced as "red" and not "re ad" if that makes sense. ) A book, sitting on his chair while looking at us and playing with them from time to time aswell. Today was a perfect date.

The cats really loved our company and I'm sure dazai enjoyed their company aswell. I smiled softly and we ate dinner, did our normal night routines and finally it was bed time. 8:10pm, not exactly the bed time we normally have but it's close. "Good night mackerel, you'd better sleep." Dazai chuckled and smiled "Yes I will sleep. Good night aswell slug, hope you have nightmares and sleep well." He said jokingly while smiling at me and then I closed my door and flopped onto my bed — which was really fluffy and felt like marshmallows and clouds. Hazel fell asleep on her cat bed aswell. I had the best night's rest.
