Mika sat at the table in Hallie's old apartment, surrounded by heroes. After her statement earlier, Hawks immediately set to work. They all agreed, something wasn't right.

Hallie leaned over into Mika's ear, "You made a big catch, thank you."

She felt the blush on her cheeks, "I just...have too much time on my hands these days."

Hallie reached over and gave her hand a small squeeze before returning her attention to the boys. Hawks was trying to form a plan, "So, I say we stay where we are. I'll go back home." He looked at Hallie, "but you stay here."

Hallie scoffed, "Why?"

Mika interjected, "Because, it'll give Bakugo free reign. With you out there, unprotected, he'd want to be right at your side, same thing with Tobi. Here you would have pros all around you, at all hours."

Bakugo expected Hallie to argue, but she merely looked at Mika and nodded. He had to admit, Mika was a good strategist in tense situations.

Shoto looked at Hawks, "When do you see him again?"

"Just a few more days. I don't want people to get suspicious. Especially after last night."

Mika looked at Hawks, "We can't go back to your place...they'll know we figured it out...I have a backup plan."

A new voice entered the chat, making them all turn around, "What the hell is she doing on campus?"

Mika looked at the man and let out a long breath before answering, "I'm leaving."

Bakugo narrowed his eyes, "What the hell is your problem?"

Aizawa walked into the apartment, his eyes staying on Mika, "The fact there is a vigilante in my dorms...." He trailed off.

Mika stood, "No, continue with your statement. I'm interested in spilling this can of beans, Shouta."

Deku blinked, "Wait..."

Aizawa ground his teeth, "Get off of my campus, now."

Bakugo moved between them, his eyes on his former teacher, "I suggest you pipe down."

"You don't know what you're dealing with," he looked past hun to Mika, "Do they know the extent of what you can do yet?"

All eyes moved to Mika who simply shook her head, "No. I haven't used that since you got in my face before, and I won't start now."

The man looked at Bakugo, "She has five minutes."

Bakugo made a move to open his mouth, but Mika's hand on his shoulder stopped him, "Bakugo, let it go. He's always been this way." She looked over Aizawa, "Always high and mighty." Her eyes landed on Hallie, "I'll send you the information soon."

Once she was out of the room Bakugo's hand grabbed Aizawa's collar, "What the fuck was that?"

Hawks casually walked around the table, "I'd like to know."

Aizawa weighed his options. Most of the top ten were in this room. Not to mention Hallie. He could fight his way out, but, he held such a soft spot for them. He sighed, "Let go."

Bakugo roughly let him go, "You realize how much she's helped with this, right?"

"She's my cousin," Aizawa crossed his arms.

"....what," Deku blinked.

"At one time we were close, but, something happened and we couldn't be more different now."

"Do you actually know what happened," Hawks tilted his head.

"No, it doesn't matter. At the end of the day she made her choice."

Hallie stood from the table and walked up to Aizawa, "You know..." her hand moved before anyone could see it, a loud smack sounded, "you're a fucking idiot."

"Hallie," Bakugo warned.

"No," she kept her eyes on her former instructor, "maybe you need to look into why she left UA, and why she chose the path she did."

"She went here," Shoto blinked.

"Yeah but she transferred after an incident," Hawks stared Aizawa down.

"I have never been so disappointed," Hallie glared at him. This hit close to home with her, but it wasn't her story to tell. "I suggest you do some research and reflect before I get mad."

Aizawa said nothing, merely nodding before he made his exit. Hawks and Hallie shared a look, knowing the questions were coming. Bakugo caught their interaction and made a note to ask Hallie in private, "Alright, we all know what to do."

"She still hits hard," Mic looked over Aizawa's slightly bruised cheek.

"Yeah," he sighed and sat back, "I felt like a scolded child."

"We'll..." Mic smiled slightly, "to be fair, you went in there guns blazing without any context."

"My students come first, past and present."

"And while that's fine and good, Shouta," he looked at his partner, "I think you should heed Hallie's advice. Something we have to seek to understand our differences before we can understand the other person."

He scoffed with a smirk, "Since when did you become so wise?"

Present Mic grinned and winked, "I try to not use it often," he pointed to his brain.

Hawks had caught up with Mika as they made their way to her apartment. She was quiet, thinking about her interaction. She was secretly proud of herself for keeping her composure considering the verbal attack from today. She opened the door and walked inside tossing her bag.

"So he's always been a stick in the mud," Hawks set down his bag.

Mika nodded with a sigh, "Always."

He spun her around to face him and looked at her, "Are you okay?"

"Yes," she couldn't help but smile, "I promise. This wasn't the first time we've run into one another."

He ran a hand through her soft hair, "You got the good genes in the family."

Mika laughed, "Hawks, be nice. Shouta has his reasons."

"Eh, he's still an asshole." He leaned down and pressed his lips on hers, something he had wanted to do all day.

"Listen," Mika pulled her lips from his, "we have to wait until sundown to move."

"Mhmm," his lips met hers again, "Sundown, got it."

She couldn't help but chuckle at his antics as her lips met his again. His hands settled at her hips, pulling her closer to him. Her hands slid up his arms, resting at his elbows. Mika felt her back against the wall, as their kiss became deeper. His lips reluctantly moved from her and to her cheek, "Someone's coming."

Her hazy grey eyes opened as she listened to the door at the top of the stairs, "You didn't-"

"No," he looked at her before his eyes settled on the door right before a knock sounded.

"Let me get it," she slid past it and opened the door, "Can I help you?"
