Another week, another heavy training schedule. Even though Mika was sore and tired, she really enjoyed her time with Hallie. It felt like having a younger sister. They would talk about their relationships, funny things the kids did, and the future they wanted.

"Let's try connecting the dots," Hallie set up the target, "I want you to channel it. Like I do into my cards."

"Seems east enough," Mika sliced her palm, forming a bow. She reached into the quiver on her back and drew an arrow. The blood of her quirk wrapped around it, making it tougher than steel. She let out a long breath, the familiar lightning shot up her arm and to the arrow as she released it.

Hallie grinned when it hit the target and exploded, "Ah, perfect."

Mika smiled, "That wasn't too bad."

A second later nausea set in, turning her pale. Hallie blinked, "Mika, are you okay?"

"I just feel a little sick, it'll pass," she let out a breath, "Just give me a minute."

Hallie walked to her bag and gave her a water, "Is this new?"

She nodded,"Yeah. I think it's stress. My body is trying to use a new quirk, along with a new training schedule."

"I see," her blue eyes studied her before she reached into her bag, "Try this. It's a ginger tab, they help with nausea."

She popped it into her mouth, "Thanks."

"Both times I was pregnant, I was super sick. So, I kept these in my bag."

"They've saved me today," she smiled and wrapped her hand, "Do you think we have a chance?"

"I do. I'm just not looking forward to it," Hallie sat down on the bench, "Facing Tobias...after eight years..."

"I couldn't imagine," she sat beside her, "but, I think finally closing this chapter, will bring us all some much needed peace."
_______
Hawks curled around her sleeping form and nuzzled into her neck. He'd had patrol last night, and was unfortunately not able to be by her side until the sun was up. He had little patience for petty villains right now. Not when he wanted to be home with her.

Mika relaxed into his warmth. Everything melted away in moments like this. He placed light kisses on her shoulder, "I'm sorry I'm late."

Her grey eyes fluttered open as she smiled, "I'm just happy you're home."

His massive wing stretched out as he got comfortable. She smiled when she felt his even breathing. Poor guy was tired. There had been heavy upticks in activity recently, meaning he was pulled out more often, and had later nights. If anything it made moments like these worth while.
_________
"You think she'll be able to handle it," Bakugo carefully set the sleeping bundle down.

"I think she will do what it takes...not matter what the cost,"  Hallie leaned on the doorway, "I have yet to really dig into how her body could be scarred. I'm not sure how exactly to approach it."

He walked up to her, placing a kiss on her cheek, "Knowing you, you'll figure it out."

"I'm thankful you have faith," she smiled as their lips met in a deep kiss.

"Don't do that," he kissed her cheek.

"Do what," she kissed him again, "love you?"

"You know what," he smirked, "You doing that got us into this, twice."

Hallie laughed, "I did that, I see. You don't think you had a small part to play?"

He scoffed and flashed a devilish smirk, "Nope."
___________
Mina smiled as she crawled into the cool sheets, "Are you happy?"

"Hell yeah I am. It'll be nice to go bust some heads again," Kirishima grinned, "I'll miss being lazy with you though."

As soon as she settled down, he was nestled to her. His hand softly rubbed her rounding stomach, "Promise me you'll stay out of trouble."

"I'm high risk, not incapable," she softly scolded, "I can still do things. The things I can't do, you can."

"We got a little over a week if what Hawks said was true. You need to be somewhere when it breaks loose." She made a move to speak, but he stopped her, "I'm serious."

Knowing arguing would be futile, she smirked to her self as she responded, "I will be, I promise."
_________
Mika sat across from Dabi, "You didn't want to see me last time."

"I wasn't in the mood," his stunning eyes looked at her, "He was called to court that day anyway."

"So your plan wouldn't work?"

He smirked and leaned on the table, "I was correct by the way, about Tobias. He came in here, had a meeting with your old toy."

"Oh," she leaned forward, "I'm assuming they're solidifying their course of action."

"You would've made a damn good villain," he chuckled, "Yeah. They're gonna start a prison riot, around nine in the evening. Then Tobias and his little crew will join in from the outside."

"What will you do, Dabi," she tilted her head, studying him.

"I'm not sure yet," he looked her over, taking in her appearance. The fitted red tshirt suited her, "Probably lose my temper."

"For my sake I hope you lose it on the right side."

"It'll all depend on my mood that day," his eyes averted, smirking as a familiar face was escorted down the hallway, "They've been annoying shits, so it's looking like it might be to your benefit."

"What can I do to repay you," she smiled, "You've done so much."

"Come visit, once a week. Just you. No annoying ass big bird."

"You have a deal," she sat back against the cool metal chair, "Do you want me to bring you anything?"

"Just you," he stood as a buzzer sounded. Guards quietly came to escort him back to his cell.

Mika watched quietly before she stood, making her exit. She wondered why he would make such a request. Was he lonely? Maybe. But, Hawks had always warned that Dabi always had a plan. There was always a double meaning with his words, and to not take them lightly. She popped another ginger tab into her mouth as she made her way down to the agency.
