// I apologize for not updating for a while! Work has been a lot. But, I've been writing behind the scenes~ I have a whole a$$ Dabi fic over halfway finished. AND a Bleach fic started! Can't wait to share them//
Mika smiled as Tobi snuggled up against her. He had picked the movie for tonight once Hawks finally returned with him. Apparently he had stopped and gotten them ice cream. It was Hawks' idea of course.
Hawks was great with kids. But, he was known for being very involved with his fans and the public, so it made sense. Luckily, this translated behind closed doors. The winged hero was like a large child, coloring with Tobi, talking about their favorite heroes, etc. Bakugo would probably be surprised the usual carefree and sarcastic hero was such a natural.
Golden eyes watched the small boy curl up to her. She wrapped a blanket around him and snuggled close, his small hand played with a strand of her silver hair. A small sigh left him. A part of him hurt in the thought he would never be able to give her that. His stance was muddled. After everything he went through with his father, he just wasn't sure.
"Are you sure you're allowed to watch scary movies," Mika eyed the boy.
"Yeah dad and I watch them on our movie night."
Hawks smirked as he settled beside Mika, draping an arm around her shoulders, "He's a good dad."
Tobi grinned, "He's the best dad."
Mika pet his hair and leaned her head on Hawks' shoulder, watching the movie. This was relaxing. She was still pretty sore from their night together, she wouldn't complain, it was perfect. A small smile settled on her lips when his head leaned against hers, needing the close contact. While his "issue" was somewhat handled for now, it wasn't completely gone for another couple of days. But, he was feeling more like his normal self, which was a good sign.
"Do you think Momma is okay?"
Mika and Hawks shared a look before she spoke, "Are you worried?"
He nodded, keeping his eyes on the movie, "Dad said Momma is the strongest person in the world."
"He's right," Mika looked down to see his blue eyes looking at her, "She's incredibly strong. They're both going to be perfectly fine. Maybe you can see them tomorrow."
He smiled slightly and looked back at the TV, "I think you're pretty strong."
Mika chuckled, "I have a lot to learn before I can say that."
Hawks scoffed, "She's fibbing."
Tobi giggled, "I know."
Mika puffed her pink cheeks, "You're ganging up on me." The other two laughed and continued watching the movie.

"He's out," Mika smirked, "I'm surprised he wasn't scared."Hawks stood and stretched, "If you think about who his dad is, I'd imagine not much scares him."
"I want to scold you," she sighed with a smile, "but you're probably right."
He reached down and carefully scooped Tobi up, "I give him shit, but he's changed a lot over the years."
She stood and stretched, "I've heard. I'm glad to know him now."
"I'm glad to know you know."
"Wow, such a way with words...I'm swooning," Mika smirked and folded the blanket. "Go put him down before he wakes up."
Hawks chuckled at the slight blush on her cheeks as he carried Tobi to his guest room. He laid him down and pulled the covers up when blue eyes opened, "Get some sleep bud."
