Mina placed the protective under her vest around her torso before slipping on her woven, purple sweater. Kirishima sat quietly, his eyes watching his wife.

"Kiri," she softly scolded, "you can't just give me the silent treatment."

He puffed his cheeks, "No but I can pretend."

She giggled and walked up to him, placing a kiss on his lips, "I'll be fine, I have this thing on."

He wrapped his strong arms around her, "It's just risky right now..."

"I know." She wrapped her arms around his neck, "But it's what we do. Another war with what's going on right now would be-"

"I know Mina," he smirked, "It's funny...I get why Bakugo and Hallie go back and forth now."

"You didn't tell him did you?"

He shook his head, "Not a soul...but I'm telling you...if something happens, imma lose my cool."

The pink woman smiled, "I'd expect no less."
__________
Mika looked over Mina and smiled, "Are you ready, bestie?"

Mina smiled and took her arm, "Of course! We have so much to catch up on."

They rounded the corner as the sun had finished setting, opening the shop door. Rocky smiled, "Welcome back!"

The dark haired woman smiled, "I brought a good friend of that's okay."

Mina bowed and smiled, "I came to town on a whim and surprised her...I promise I won't be any trouble."

Rocky chuckled and walked around the counter, "You can't be any more trouble than she is," he nodded to Mika and held out his hand, "Rocky."

"Hana," Mina introduced herself, "Mika has told me a lot about you."

"All terrible things," Mika cooly teased.

"Oh I'm sure," Rocky winked at Mina, "Make yourself at home. If you want anything, lemme know."

Mina looked at Mika who smiled, "Come to the back and catch up with me."
__________
"So far so good," Deku laid flat against the building nearby, blending in with the darkness. They had a live feed through the comm in Mika's jacket. Mina had an extra one embedded into the small clip in her hair.

Hawks sat back, his eyes closed as the lone red father sat by the back door. He was listening for any newcomers trying to make an entrance. Aizawa was beside him, listening carefully.

"Let's not get comfortable," Kirishima was surprisingly serious and quiet as he sat beside his best friend, using a large billboard sign as cover.

The blonde looked at him, "Spill it."

"I can't," he sighed, "I'll get distracted."

"Kirishima," Bakugo looked at him, "You're already distracted."

"Swear to me-"

"I won't..."

"We think Minas..." he trailed off as his eyes met Bakugo's.

"God dammit you idiot," he pulled out his phone and sent a text, "Why wouldn't you say something?"

"She said not to," he huffed, "this wasn't my idea."

He could've gotten angry and screamed, blown their cover, but instead he looked at his long time friend. You could see the stress weighing in. He sighed and patted the red heads shoulder, "I'm pulling her out."
_________
Mika read the message on her phone and sighed, "Girl this guy just won't stop."

Mina chuckled, "Lemme see what he said now."

The two exchanged a look before Mika handed her the phone. Minas smile dropped for a brief moment, "He's cute though."

Mika deleted the message and put the phone back, "Yeah but he's kind of a snob..."

"Who," Rocky casually poked his head in the stock room.

"Bird man," Mika rolled her eyes, "he asked me on a date..."

"And?" The man looked her over.

"I'm too busy with work," she sighed and looked at him, "not to mention, heroes are overrated."

Rocky chuckled, "Amen."

A customer walked in, grabbing his attention. Mika set down another box, "Leave, now."

"Mika-"

Her cold steel eyes made Mina stop mid sentence. She tore open the box, "I'm not asking...I won't be responsible." She moved and opened the back door, "Go."

"Where's she goin," Rocky leaned in the stockroom doorway.

Mina looked at Rocky, "My husband made dinner plans I had forgotten about."

"Is that so?"

Mika watched Rocky's body language. It was almost uncatchable, the way me moved. Mika narrowed her eyes and push Mina out of the back door, slamming it shut.

Mina hit the ground and spun around, "He knows somethings up."

Kirishima moved with a god like quickness to his wife, "Let's get you outta here."
________
Mika winced at the strong hand grasping her wrists. Rocky leaned into her ear, "Mika, did you think I wouldn't recognize her?"

"Rocky, what are you doing," she struggled against his hold.

"It took me a while you know, to figure out how to keep this form," he leaned down and sniffed her hair, making her scowl in disgust, "I just cut the bastards head off."

He spun her around to a jar on the very back shelf. She wanted to vomit. Inside was the real Rocky's dried up head. "You're a monster..."

He laughed, "I know....it feels good." He spun her around, "Where are the rest?"

"What?"

"I know you didn't bring just her."

"Yes Rocky, all I brought was her.."

His hand gripped her neck, sliding her up the wall, "Mika...I've been watching you for years now...it took me a while to find you once the rumors started."

"What rumors," she choked out, slowly putting her hand behind her, digging her nail into her flesh.

"The girl who used blood. It's a rare quirk to have," his form began to change slowly, revealing the man underneath, "It took us a while, but I told them patience would pay off..."
_____
Hawks was doing everything humanly possible not to move. His muscles almost burned as he sat still, listening through the comm feed. Bakugo kept a close eye on him, as did Tokoyami. The blonde huffed and looked at their party leader.

"Hawks," Bakugo warned.
_________
Kenshi looked over Mika, "I won't lie, Rocky was a good man. His family also...at one point I considered just secretly living out my life."

"You should have," Mika closed her eyes as the blood pooled in her palm, "You break my heart..." Her knee connected to his groin and her hand formed a katana. He released her with a yelp of pain, allowing her to kick him backwards in the chest, heading for the back door.

"You little bitch," he lunged and grabbed her hair, yanking her back.

Mika used this opportunity to slam backwards into him, slamming them both against the wall. Kenshi reached over, grabbing a knife off of its block.

Hawks heard the sound of the blade and took off in a winged blur.
