"Then I'll keep someone over there," Mika walked through the agency, "You guys shouldn't be worried about something like that."
Hallie sighed on the other end of the phone, "I know, but I'm sure we're just being paranoid."
"Hallie," Mika grabbed her hero gear, "a mother's intuition is never wrong...and annoyingly the same can be said for Bakugo's."
"I'll let him know you're singing his praises."
"I almost threw up in my mouth," Mika smirked, "I'll drop by on patrol tonight, okay? Just to scope it out."
"Thank you," Hallie smiled warmly as she hung up the phone. She was so proud of Mikasa.

Mika pulled up the zipper on her suit and yawned. Hawks had kept her...busy. A blush settled on her cheeks. She wasn't complaining at all, being wrapped up with him was one of her greatest moments of peace. Her phone buzzed, "Hello?"
"Which side are you taking," Hawks paced the roof of his agency.
"The west. Hallie called and said it's been a little strange."
"Bakugo texted me about it," he smirked, "don't go messing around with the baby."
She huffed, "I wasn't going to...we'll I said I'd pop in..."
He laughed, "It's a full moon tonight, be careful."
"Only if you are," she walked out to see the sun setting, painting the sky vibrant rays of orange and purple, "I love you."
He grinned, "I love you too."
She dropped Aizawa her location, just in case and set off through the darkening alley ways. The summer nights were still thick and humid, making her suit cling to her. I really need Hallie to design me a summer suit...this is rough...
As the sun fully set she settled on a rooftop, hidden carefully between air con units. Her grey eyes kept watch, determined not to let someone try to get to them.
After a few hours, Hallie checked in, saying they felt nothing tonight. She promised to stay until her relief came around two. She would never forgive herself if she slacked and something happened.
She felt someone land on the roof and narrowed her eyes, making herself blend into the shadows. She heard footsteps approaching slowly. As soon as she was able, she sprung out with a strong kick. A hand swiftly grabbed her leg, twisting her into a hard body. A chuckle made her roll her eyes, "If you like playing rough," his golden eyes looked her over, "I'd be more than happy to oblige."
"I thought you were on the other side of town," she relaxed against him.
"I was, but the other shift started early. So there was no point," he kept his arms around her, keeping her back against him, "I wanted to come scope it out...maybe say hello."
She chuckled, "Mhmm I'm sure."
He nuzzled against her cheek, "You're pretty cute..."
"My man thinks so too," she casually walked out of his grasp, "Better luck next time." She sat on the edge of the tall building.
He grinned and sat beside her, "I'll try again next time...my charm will eventually win you over."
"Eh," she raked her eyes over him, watching the blush settle on his cheeks, "I'm not so sure." Her green eyes scanned the buildings, "Heroes aren't really my thing."
Hawks chuckled, "So what are your thoughts."
"They're being staked out," she sighed, "It the same time, every evening. They only feel it for a second, never see anything."
"Hmmm," he frowned, "Sadly this isn't that rare. It could be tabloids."
"All the way up here?"
He nodded, "I've heard crazier. It's what happens when you're popular. They put you under a microscope."
"If it is that, Bakugo won't stand for it," she grinned.
"I'd support him all the way," his golden eyes looked at their building, "Something so precious should be sacred...don't you think?"
Mika looked at him, admiring how handsome he was. It made her heart race. He usually played cool and unphased, it was rare for him to speak like that. She smiled, "You have a big heart."
He turned his head away from her, making her grin. She knew his face was red. He shrugged, "Just stating the obvious."
"Well I agree," she looked back out, "If we ever...."
"I'd make sure we were left alone," he studied her, taking in her appearance in the moonlight, "I'd tell them all to go to hell."
She smiled at the city, "I know you would. You'd be amazing as always."
The winged hero turned as Deku landed, "I hope it's okay I'm early. I got done at the agency quicker than I thought."
Mika smiled, "No it's okay. It's been quiet tonight."
He walked to the edge of the building and looked around, "Maybe there's still time."
She could tell he was worried for his friend, "We'll get them, one way or the other."
Hawks stood and held out his hand, "Shall we?"
"I could just walk..." she took his hand and stood.
Deku chuckled, "Not a fan of flying?"
"She's getting better," he lifted her up, "It'll be quicker this way."
"Be safe," Mika wrapped her arms around Hawks neck as he shot off. Deku laughed hearing her scold him.

"You know I'd never drop you," he grinned as she marched through the darkened agency. She walked into the locker room, "Yeah but you don't have to take off like that..."
Arms snaked around her, "Don't be angry with me."
His lips on her neck made her close her eyes, "....Damn you..."
He chuckled and spun her around, "I love you."
"I love you too, brat."
His hands glided over her body, "What did you call me?"
Mika met his eyes, "I called you what you are...a brat."
In an instant she was pressed tightly against the lockers, his mouth was commanding against hers as his hands raked along her body. Her hands gripped his jacket collar, keeping him against her. His hands gripped at her hips, as his lips hungrily moved to her neck. A soft moan escaped her when he nipped her flesh. His hands moved up to the collar of her suit undoing the straps, siding down the zipper.
Her eyes closed as his lips traveled her exposed skin, licking and kissing her flesh. When her back arched into his touch, it was all he could do not get hasty. Mika slid his jacket from his shoulders as her hands wound underneath his shirt feeling his warm skin.
He sucked in a breath when her hand rubbed against him, "No cheating..." he scolded, his golden eyes blazing at her.
"It's not cheating," she repeated her action, smiling when he groaned into her neck, "Especially when you enjoy it."
His grip was almost painful as he leaned into her ear, "I've had enough." Goosebumps ran up her skin as his hands skillfully pulled off the top half of her suit. His lips crashed into hers as his hand slid down into her suit a moan sounded from her as his fingers worked their magic. He grinned into their kiss, she was already so close, just a bit further.
A whimper left her lips as his hand continued his work, leaving her breathless. She was right on the edge when he stopped, removing his hand from her. He placed a quick kiss on her lips, "I'll see you at home."
He laughed hearing her curse through the door. He'd finish what he started later. Right now, she needed to learn a lesson.
