Mika sat on her couch and opened the note, grinning, "Oh he's sneaky."

Hawks leaned over her shoulder, "That little shit."

You're really pretty.

"Seems you have some competition," she folded the note back and set it down.

"A damn six year old..."

"A six year old with game," Mika teased.

Hawks scoffed, "You sayin I don't have game?"

He plopped on the couch and laid his head on her lap. She ran a hand through his hair gently, thinking. He watched her quietly. He was starting to learn her eyes. The way they moved depending on where her mind was. She was forming a plan for tomorrow night. Going over the scenarios in her mind, thinking of the options she had. He nipped her arm, making her jump.

"You brat," she flicked his forehead.

He grinned and sat up, "I meant to ask if you were okay after last night."

"Yes," she chuckled, "thank you for asking."

"I'm sorry I was gone when you woke up."

"It's fine Hawks, we have our roles," she leaned forward and kissed him, "I won't hold it against you, well, right now."

"Right now?"

"Mhmm," she kissed him again, seeing his golden eyes getting hazy, "When this is all over and you sneak out of bed, I'll have an issue."

"When this is all over, I will never sneak out of bed, I promise," he kissed her cheek before meeting her lips once more. Her kisses were intoxicating, he couldn't help himself. He rested his forehead on hers and closed his eyes as she ran her hands into his hair, turning him to putty.

Mika smiled, it was always cute how he calmed down at her touch. His usual cocky attitude was nowhere in sight when they were close like this.

His lips met hers again in a heated kiss. Mika smiled against his lips and pushed him away. He grinned and jerked them back together, claiming her lips again. The buzzing of his phone made him sigh, reaching into his pocket. His eyes narrowed, "Yeah."

Mika tilted her head as he spoke. She wasn't sure who he was speaking to, but whoever it was, they were annoying him. He got up off of the couch, continuing the one sided conversation. She reached, grabbing a blanket from the back of the couch and reaching for her book.

Hawks hung up the phone and tossed it to the other couch, "Tomorrow has a slight change of plans..."

Mika looked up from her book, "I'm all ears."

"We have to engage Kenshi tomorrow."

"Oh..." she closed her book and thought for a moment. Could she do it? Sure he wasn't actually Rocky...but he had been a constant for her these past few years.

"Can you handle that," Hawks looked her over as he sat down.

"Yes," she looked at him, "I can handle it. Mina needs to stay out of my way though, and let me do my thing."

He nodded, "I'll pass it along. I'll be right there if things go south."

"What, are you gonna save me," she smiled slightly.

"I wouldn't hesitate," he leaned forward and met her lips with his in a deep kiss. Truth be told all he could think about today was the memories of her soft moans, and the way she felt against him. He craved her, something he had never experienced with anyone else.

Mika kept her lips on his as she carefully moved her legs on either side of him. His hands held her thighs as he nipped her lips. Her response was to deepen their kiss, lazily putting her arms around his neck.

She pulled their lips apart and leaned into his ear, "Come to bed with me."

"Is that my shirt," Bakugo teased Hallie.

The red head puffed her cheeks, "Yes, my clothes are uncomfortable."

"What am I supposed to wear?"

Hallie gave him a sly smirk, "You don't need a shirt."

The blonde blushed slightly, and rolled his eyes, "Don't start."

"You love me," she smiled and crawled into the bed, "I'm surprised Hawks didn't throw a fit."

"He doesn't have any room to talk," he sat on the bed.

"Mika said they had argued about it beforehand," she rested back against the headboard and winced, "I'm not getting much sleep tonight."

He reached out and gently rubbed her swollen stomach, "She's like you: restless."

"Probably," her blue eyes watched him, "Katsuki?"

"Hm?"

"Keep an eye on her for me, please."

He knew she was talking about Mika. "You don't think she can do it?"

"I know she can. That's the problem. I'm worried she'll get on edge and go backwards."

"I guess I'll babysit," he smirked when he felt a small kick on his warm palm, "What a brat."

"That I can agree on."

"Hallie I want you to stay here tomorrow," he looked at her, "You can work comms from home." She opened her mouth so argue, but he cut her off, "I'll be able to concentrate more if things go downhill."

"Fine," Hallie whined, "but will you stay with me tomorrow night?"

"Of course I will," he leaned forward and kissed her gently, "The doctor said to rest, so don't push it."

She rolled her eyes, "Katsuki he said to cut back on standing for long periods of time, not bed rest."

He sighed, "Just give me some peace of mind."

She reached forward and ran a hand through his hair. He closed his eyes. He had been staying at his apartment to make things appear normal, while Hallie was staying at UA with Tobi. They hadn't spent a lot of time together, he missed her.

"I will do my best," she smiled when he kissed her palm.

He was enamored with her. He always had been, but, with her pregnancy moving along, it was worse. She was beautiful, and carried it well. He was thankful to be able to be a part of this experience with her.

Hawks placed a deep, heavy kiss on Mika's lips as she caught her breath. They were still wrapped in the sheets of her bed, tangled with one another. He couldn't help the feeling settling in his stomach.

Mika reached up and ran a hand down his cheek. He was quiet, thinking. "Penny for your thoughts."

"They're jumbled right now," he smirked down at her, resting on his elbow.

She rolled her eyes, "Isn't that how you always function?"

"You've got me all figured out, don't you?"

"Almost. You're formulating for tomorrow aren't you?"

"Maybe," he laid his head against hers, "I have a gut feeling."

"I know, me too." She smiled, "It's going to go to all kinds of shit."

"I hope we're both wrong...I kinda like having you around," he teased.

"You'll grow tired of me," she chuckled and leaned up, kissing his lips, "it'll be fine." Her fingers reached out and lightly traced his red wing, "Does it hurt still?"

Hawks laid his head in the bend on her neck and closed his eyes, "Not really, I can tell it's still weak, but it's not aching anymore."

"Good," Mika closed her eyes and relaxed in the warmth of the bed, her skin against his. Hawks listened to her steady heartbeat, his hand quietly twirling a soft strand of her dark hair, hoping sleep would claim him.
