Mika's back laid against Hawks' chest, her head was leaned in the crook of his neck. His golden eyes stared into the darkness of the room. She hadn't planned to fall asleep in this position, but night terrors were making themselves known. It was almost like clockwork, around the same time, every night.

His mind pondered quietly as he waited. Hallie had sent him numerous studies on PTSD and ways to cope, but, he still felt clueless. The first couple of days, she could only stand liquids. Slowly she worked her way to meals once more, snacking on fruits in between. Now they were working on her sleeping through the night. It was late, but he didn't mind. Thirty more minutes and it would be smooth sailing.

Mika shifted slightly, catching his attention. He carefully snaked his arms around her and rested his head on hers. He needed to get her more stable before he had to disappear for a bit, he just wasn't sure how. He could feel her body entering fight or flight as her breaths became unsteady. He leaned into her ear, "Mika."

If hadn't kept his arms around her. She would have shot forward as her eyes snapped open. Once she realized where she was, she caught her breath, "I'm sorry..."

He loosened his grip and leaned back, "It's okay, I promise." His hand stroked her soft hair, "Lay back and sleep."

"I feel like I'm bothersome," she leaned back against him and relaxed.

"Not at all," his fingers casually twirled her hair, "don't ever think like that when it comes to me."

Mika turned and snuggled against him, "Okay. Can you even sleep like this?"

He scoffed with a smile as he adjusted, getting comfortable and pulling her to him, "This is a walk in the park." She chuckled slightly and closed her eyes, settling down. Hawks rested his head against hers once more, making note on this one happening earlier than the others as he fell asleep.

Shouta Aizawa was never known to show extreme emotion, he was known for his intimidating behavior. Currently he sat across from non other than Lena's favorite pet while the officer began questioning.

Stings hazel eyes looked over Aizawa as he smirked, "You look similar to her...the same complexion."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

The officer made a move to speak, but Sting interrupted him, "Im not talking to you. Im talking to him."

Aizawa sighed, knowing this game, "Leave us, I can handle this." Sting smiled as the defeated officer left the room, leaving just the two men together. "So, where do you want to begin?"

"I get to pick?" sting chuckled, "What a gentlemen...where are you at in the story?"

"I would like to know how you got ahold of Project Sunshine, and why you chose Mikasa."

"Sunshine was sold at an auction not long after Professor Sterling's unfortunate demise. It was a sample from the blood work they had collected for that snobby hero school."

"How did you get it from the school?" He kept his voice even and unbothered.

Sting shrugged, "Im assuming Kenshi. Ms. Lena was the one wheeling and dealing."

Makes sense, he thought as he took a sip of his coffee. "So why her?"

"Surely such a hot shot hero would know just how rare and powerful an actual blood quirk is..." he grinned, "the limits do not exist with them, leaving a lot of room to play with."

"What were your hopes on mixing her blood with theirs?"

"To use her as a leash. Not to mention, while she can use it as punishment, if she tried she could use it to strengthen quirks...maybe with the right one, surpass All Mights successor."

"It makes sense now," Aizawa sat back, his mind working, "How long was she in your radar?"

"Long enough to know she was fuckin that annoying bird man."

Aizawa smirked, "Does that strike a nerve with you?"

Sting scoffed, "Nah, I had my fun...I wish I coulda had more...she's something else." He decided to see what buttons he could as he continued, "She was a good girl. Ms. Lena adored her, even more so after she came to our bed-"

In an instant, he felt the rough fabric of the scarf right around his neck, cutting off his air. Aizawa never stood, nor did he raise his voice. He merely let out a slow breath, "I could easily snap your neck...Playing games with me is not an option for you. I have one more question: Why were you set on releasing the others?"

Sting rubbed his neck as the scarf let go, "Because the master himself is in there like a caged dog..."

"Dabi."

"Yeah," he sighed, "Ms. Lena worshiped him."

"Jealousy is pretty common for you isn't it?"

Stings eyes narrowed, "Fuck you."

It was Aizawa's turn to chuckle as he stood, "You know he's in there voluntarily, right? While he is serving a sentence, he chose to do it at the facility."

"Why," the villain was confused.

"Because, he's tired. He had one mission, he did what he personally set out to do." Aizawa walked to the door, "Villains have reasons, just like heroes do."

Hawks had wiggled his way from Mika's sleeping form, heading outside to get some air. His massive wings stretched out in the warm sunlight. It felt nice, he made a mental note to bring her out here later when it warmed up more.

Tokoyami was handling the agency well in his absence. It relieved him to know when he chose to, he could retire in peace...whenever that would be.

His golden eyes closed as he too a deep breath. Being inside wasn't his normal habit, but he hadn't wanted to leave Mika's side since she came home. He felt a presence and spun around, ready to pummel whoever it was into the ground.

"Are you a guard dog now," Aizawa casually shoved his hands in his pockets.

"No," he relaxed, "You just snuck around is all."

"I came by to have a chat and check on Mika,"he looked at the fellow hero, you feel like talking?"

He tilted his head and looked Aizawa over. He was emotional about something. The blonde smiled, "Let's talk."
