Chapter twenty-four: Capture the prey

Seraphina's POV

"I thought you're joining them?"

Parker asked out of confusion when I headed into another direction.

"I don't want to join their childish game, I already knew who the hacker is"

Instead of asking, he just smirk at me as if he's proud.

"They're too dumb to notice because they're letting themselves to be swallowed by their bloodlust"

I'm pretty sure Hazel figured it out, but she didn't say a word because she wants our siblings to make Salvador pay for his disloyalty.

I stopped our car in front of our company's building, it's already midnight so there's no people outside.

"I'm impressed that you managed to drive the car with one hand"

I heard Parker said while he's helping me to unbuckle my seatbelt, my bone in my right arm was fractured so I'm wearing an arm sling. Our private nurse scanned me the moment I got home last night and they saw my right arm was broken, I can't let Parker drive since his left foot was injured so I'm the one who's driving.

"I can't believe you're impressed by little things like that, you should be impressed when I've already killed our enemies"

He just chuckled and we both got off the car, the main door was obviously closed so we tried going inside by the fire exit.

"I've left a tip for the janitor to leave this door open"

I said and we managed to go inside, we quietly sneak in the dark.

"Since when did you already planned to do all of this?"

He asked, I stopped walking when we've reached the second floor of the building.

"I told you, our mission last night doesn't go into a waste"

I said and pulled out my gun, I ordered him that we should split up on finding that person because it will take us a while to find him inside this enormously huge building.

My insicts are telling me that he's here, after all we're not born with instincts without a reason.

That Salvador should be dead right now, well unfortunate for him Balme-roun's are on the loose since the oldest wasn't here to handle them. My bet is on Menzel, he doesn't like traitors after all.

Well this bastard is lucky that I still have mercy on him. If I tell the others about his doing, he'll probably end up like the same way that Salvador will, bathing on his own blood.

Our mission last night doesn't actually go on a waste, I'm not that dumb to not figure out that it was a trap. Hazel already informed me that their company's secretary which is Salvador is helping many big time company and well known underground business by giving and exchanging informations, in short he is a double agent.

He uses his position in our company as an undercover for his real job, he helps our opponent's company behind our back and people from the underground are paying him to spy on another enemy. He was getting benefits from spying on a target organization while he's still serving on another. How an unloyal jerk he is.

I can say that, that was so clever of him. He may actually be successful and rich as hell if he keep doing that, but no matter how clever he is, he couldn't think of one thing...
