Chapter twenty: Investigation

Seraphina's POV

"What?"

"[Yeah, I've received a report from the company that someone is trying to sabotage our sales]"

"And you think it's the enemies doing?"

While I'm here at the journalism club. I've received a call from Hazel, claiming that our company is being attacked by our enemies.

"You think that aren't they're too petty just to sabotage our company? And for what reason?"

"[Menzel investigated it, and he said that our company's system is being hacked. He thinked that they tried to enter the company's system to steal datas from the Balme-roun]"

I immediately looked at Parker from across the room who's already looking at me, I walked outside the club's room and find an empty hallway.

"[We also get Chrizel to do some investigation and she claimed that someone infect the company's system and spread malicious programs that caused our system to disrupt]"

"So someone from inside the company did it?"

"[No, the virus envaded our system from outside the company]"

"You're saying that the user is using a gadget that isn't inside the company?"

"[Sadly, Yes]"

Shit, this assholes are getting better. They really improved their hacking skills, but they're no match for Chrizel.

"What's the current status?"

"[The hacker gained unathorized access to the company's system, Chrizel is trying to get our database back]"

My eyebrow raised

"Wait, isn't she in class?"

"[Hala, oo nga noh? Edi paano siya nakakapag-laptop?]"

"Tsk"

Hazel is the real definition of smart idiot, she's smart when it comes to business but really dumb to simple things. Sa sobrang talino niya wala ng space yung ibang bagay sa utak niya.

I immediately ended the call, bumalik ako sa room ng club and sinubukan i-excused ang sarili ko para sa gawain ngayong araw.

"Wait, Seri"

Napalingon ako ng marinig ko ang tawag ng club president namin.

"As far as I know we're not that close to call me by my nickname, Martinez"

"My bad, naririnig ko kasi na iyon ang tawag sa'yo ni Lex kaya akala ko okay lang sa'yo"

Napabuntong hininga naman ako, hindi ko naman namalayan na nasa tabi ko na si Parker.

"Since our club isn't getting enough topic to be released, I need the both of you to collect subjects for our weekly newspaper"

Sabi nito at inabot sa amin ang dalawang ID, it was the ID that Lex told us about. Pwede naming ipakita iyon sa kahit saang facility dito at papasukin kami kahit off limits ito sa mga students.

Suddenly a plan struck to my mind.

"Sure we can do that, we can't disobey the club president"

I said and took the ID, Parker did the same. Mason just gave us a smile before we left the room.
