That night, the three girls slept well, passing out almost immediately after getting into bed. This summer was actually warm, the heat was making everyone tired, even Charlie, who usually seemed to be on some sort of potion at all hours. However, that night was different, before calling it a night, the girls first had a nice long laugh at the fact that Bill had to physically, carry his brother up the stairs after he had passed out cold in the living room.
"Girls, wake up, breakfast!" A voice called from somewhere. A loud series of knocks sounded before a set of footsteps faded and went up the stairs, only for the pattern to be repeat.
"Ugh" Ginny's voice groaned from somewhere over Tara, "I don't want to wake up"
"Come on," Hermione sighed
Tara felt her covers being pulled up, she cursed under her breath and curled into a ball, "Mione.." she managed to croak out.
"Your mother says Breakfast is ready" Hermione went on without paying heed to Tara. Tara opened her eyes slowly, as her eyes began to adjust to the light she saw Hermione was already dressed and standing over Ginny's bed.
"She also says that she would never think of killing us" Ginny said, sitting up, grabbing her covers before Hermione had the chance to rob those from her like she did to Tara, "But, trust me the only thing stopping her sometimes is Dad"
Molly's footsteps came back down the stairs getting louder than softer again as she walked past the bedroom door.
Tara scoffed, before sighing deeply and holding her hand out to Hermione, "Help me up would you?"
Hermione rolled her eyes, and took Tara's hand and pulled her up quickly. Tara yawned and thanked her before rubbing her eyes, "Gin, why does your family actually have a schedule during the Summer?"
"We are a family of nine, if we didn't we wouldn't have a house" Ginny smirked, stretching her arms over her head
Tara laughed hoarsely, getting up clumsily, "Fair enough"
"Come on, let's get downstairs before the boys steal the food" Ginny sighed, getting up and grabbing Tara as she tripped, sleep still in her eyes.
"GeroffmeGinny" Tara mumbled, reaching over to the chest of drawers beside her makeshift bed and taking her jumper from last night from the top.
"Aren't you going to get changed?" Hermione asked, looking between the two of them
"We don't do that here. Food is limited in a house with Six boys" Ginny scoffed, "Come on, I can hear movement from Bill and Charlie's room" she grabbed Hermione's arm and brought her to the door
Tara followed as the other two left the room, closing the door.
When they got to the kitchen the only other Weasley sibling at the table was Percy, he, like Hermione, was also dressed.
Ginny let go of Hermione's arm as her mother made a fuss over Hermione, "Maybe we should've waited, now that we're stuck with this sod"
Tara laughed and rolled her eyes, "You're so mean"
"Hey, I'm just saying what you were thinking" Ginny said defensively, holding her hands up in surrender.
Tara pushed her forward toward the table, chuckling to herself as she did
"Tara, dear, sit down and help yourself" Molly said rushing over to her and guiding her to the table
"Thanks Mrs. Weasley," Tara said before catching Mollys eye, "Molly" she corrected herself
Molly nodded approvingly and pulled a chair out for her. The table was decked out with pates of sausages, toast, rashers and as Tara pulled her chair in, Mr Weasley was plating out an egg per person at Mollys will.
