The crowd suddenly gasped and all heads turned away from their own conversations and to the lake
"What's going on? " Fred asked, craning his neck to look down at the waters surface.

Tara, who had been writing in her progress journal, followed suit, glancing down to the judges table and saw a head of blonde hair swimming back towards the platform, "It's Fleur!" She exclaimed, pointing at the Beauxbatons champion .

Fleur was covered in scratches, Madam Pomfrey rushed over to her and was soon followed by Dumbledore and Madame Maxime.

Fleur quickly talked to them before they both nodded and she was escorted away; presumably to evaluate her injuries.

"Wonder what happened," Ciara wondered aloud, turning to James, worriedly.

Her question was answered immediately afterward as Bagman's voice bellowed over the crowd, "Miss Fleur Delacour is now eliminated from this task due to a grindlow attack and was unsuccessful in retrieving her hostage."

A wave of elevated chatter swept through the stands

"Hope she's ok" Tara said looking over at the boys and Fred " I wonder who she had gone down to the bottom of the lake for..."

Fred shrugged, "Dunno, but whoever it is they'll be fine. Dumbledore wouldnt harm a student like that." He reassured her, "Not on his watch"

The next ten minutes were uneventful, the exciting anticipation was momentarily disturbed as Sarah called out, "It's Cedric and Cho!"

Tara looked back to the waters surface and Sarah was indeed right, Cedric had emerged, an arm extended helping Cho tread through the current as he guided her to the judges table.

She breathed out, "Thank Merlin," she tilted her head up to reach Fred's ear, "He was deadly worried about her this morning, said he couldn't find her all evening."

Cheers erupted, as word spread that Cedric had surfaced, "Diggory! Diggory!" a chant started up.

"And Mr. Cedric Diggory returns, successfully rescuing Ms. Chang. He's the first champion to return in triumph," announced Ludo Bagman, "All scores will be finalised at the end of the task."

Similar to Fleur, Madam Pomfrey escorted Cho and Cedric away-Cedric's arm firmly around Chos waist, leaning down talking to her.

She grinned back at him.

Another ten minutes passed and Krum came up from the waters depts with Hermione and they to swam to the judges table; the same sequence of events took place and they soon disappeared with the schools Medic.

A couple of minutes passed and still no Potter. Tara was growing anxious as she pulled away from Fred and leaned on the edge of the barrier between the crowd and the drop down.

"Come on, Harry..." she muttered, foot tapping the ground. She put a hand to her mouth, breath gaited.

She couldn't lie, her heart was beating fast.

"Don't worry, Tar," Lee put a hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah," Fred agreed, "Dumbledore wouldnt let anything happen to his favourite student" he joked, trying to calm Tara down.

Tara managed to let out a strained laughed, "Yeah."

After about two minutes the water rippled and two people emerged; neither howerever were Harry to Tara's growing dismay.  It was Ron and a little blonde girl around eight or nine years old.

"That's why Percy was stressing this morning," Fred said.

"Must be," George nodded.

"Must be fleurs siter, the person she was supposed to save, they look alike dont they?" James guessed. "Ron Weasley must've been for Potter, then."
