"You'd really think they'd continue the quidditch season," Tara complained, putting down her (very very old) copy of quidditch throughout the ages. "Just because we aren't competing in the tournament doesn't mean we can't compete in anything."

"I know," Fred groaned, "I was looking forward to beating your ass in the cup this year."

Tara looked up at him, "For that, next year I'm going to make sure my bat finds its way to your face."

Fred, George, Lee and Tara were all sitting on a staircase somewhere in the west of the castle. Tara was leaning back, using Fred's side as a pillar, while Lee and George used the stone banisters.

"I'm so bored without quidditch," Lee chimed in, "And I don't even play."

"To be fair your commentating makes the games about five times more entertaining," George said fairly.

"It's basically just a never ending review of the players as people," Tara scoffed.

"Can't wait to see how he pairs the review of me and you next year during the Gryffindor Hufflepuff match," Fred told Tara, grinning at her, teasingly.

"Don't mind us," she waved a hand, completely uninterested, "Every time George goes near Angelina next year he'll start making kissing noises into the mic," she joked.

"Shush," George hushed them, unappreciative of his friends banter, "Don't give the guy ideas."

"Awh," Fred cooed, "Is Georgie gone shy and lovey dovey?" He leaned forward and hit his twins shoulder playfully.

"George Weasley hits bludger away from chaser Angelina Johnson," Lee began to demonstrate, "Watch out gents, Johnson is taken by a beater! If you go near her that bludger won't be the only thing that bat is hitting."

Fred and Tara laughed while George scowled, sourly. Tara giggled, "Oh, come on, George, nothing to be ashamed of."

"Yeah at least you aren't single," Lee chuckled, "Look at me, I'm all lonely."

"Anyways," Tara started, "Apparition lessons...when are they starting?"

"Charlie said he did his in March, but Percy started in late February," George answered, eager to move on from the topic of his love life, "But Bill started at the beginning of February."

"I can't wait to be able to apperate," Lee told them, looking into the distance dreamily.

"Like you'll pass," Fred sarcastically remarked.

Tara turned to him and hit him on the top of the head (lightly but warningly). Fred pushed her off, grinning as he did.

"You will," Tara shook her head, "Ignore him."

Fred chuckled as Tara resumed her original position.

"At least someone has faith in me," Lee gratefully nodded at Tara before shooting a venomous glare at Fred.

Tara hadn't felt this content in a long time. Her life was actually doing pretty good. Life for the past ten or so years had been turbulent to say the least. Seven to eleven-Being a caretaker to her dying father, eleven to thirteen-intense bullying and grieving, thirteen to fifteen- fighting for her claims in court...now she was sixteen and the only problem in her life was missing a sport. (not too shabby if Tara did say so herself)

"Why do you look so happy?" Fred whispered, an amused spark in his expression.

"Just plotting your downfall is all," Tara quickly shot at him.

Fred laughed lightly to himself before shifting his position and kissing her cheek quickly, "Can't wait to see it."

She sat up and faced him, "I'm actually going to AK you tomorrow, just a heads up."
