Tara didn't know how long she was in there for, it could've been a minute, it could've been a millennium, she didn't know.
But she was pulled out of her thoughts but a familiar voice in the distance, shouting her name. At first she thought she was dreaming but as the voice started to grow distant again she started to panic and so she got up and despite her whole throat feeling as though she had set it on fire she managed to shout back, "IM HERE!"
The calling stopped.
"ITS ME, IM TARA, IM HERE!" She called out, staggering to her feet and started to half limp, half run her way to the voice.
"Tara!" The voice called again.
Tara let out a sigh of relief as she ran faster to the voice, "I'm here!"
As the voice kept calling her Tara kept following the sound until she saw the back of a person she knew she needed more than anyone right now, as they looked around. She didn't even notice the hot salty tears on her cheek, as the person turned around and finally spotted her.
"Tara" she breathed. She looked as if she had been running for ages, sweat shiny on her forehead and damp in her hair. She held her arms open for her sister.
"Dora" Tara sobbed, running into her arms . Her sister held her tightly, "I couldn't find my way out" she mumbled through sobs.
"Your shaking" Dora whispered. She pulled away slightly, still keeping Tara close, and looking her in the eye, "It's alright. I found you didn't I?"
Tara nodded, inhaling sharply every few seconds. Her sister pulled her sleeve over her hand and wiped Tara's face dry, "It's alright" she reassured her, "You wandered fairly fair in, but we'll get you out" she smiled at her kindly
After Dora had dried Tara's eyes and gotten her to calm down Tara pulled away, "What about the others" she hiccuped, "Did you see them?"
"If you're asking about the twins and Ginny, I did" Dora answered, calmly, "They told me they had lost you and Harry and Hermione and I think Ron too" she explained, "I glimpsed them near enough to the campsite but you were nowhere to be found"
"I'm so glad I found you" Tara laughed, wiping more tears from her cheeks.
"I was worried sick. I got off my shift ten minutes before the commotion. I was about to go home but I needed to find you the second I heard all that screaming" Dora kissed Tara's head quickly before sighing, "What did you do now, huh? I swear you break everything" she gently took Tara's wrist and examined it.
"Crowds run when they're scared" Tara joked, as her sister took her cloak off and started to sling Tara's arm carefully.
"You've been here for a while" Dora told her, "The campsite is calm again, maybe calm is the wrong word but it's quiet" she wrapped the remaining cloak around Tara's shoulder, "I sent the others back, said I'd find you."
Tara nodded, "Mum and Dad will be worried about you" she sniffed, as her sister went around to look at her head.
"True, but they can deal, it was either that or I leave their youngest here for dead, so...they can suck it up" she replied, with a light chuckle. "Your head is fairly ok, the cut is deep enough though" she sighed and put an arm over Tara's shoulder, "Come on, they'll be looking for you."
"I want to go home, Dora" Tara said quietly, as she followed her sister's lead out of the wood, "I want to see Mum and Dad."
"You will, but I think you should stay here tonight, let the others know you're ok. If we go home now, Mum and Dad will keep you up with questions for hours and you need rest" Dora told her. "I need rest, so I'm not staying up listening to them ramble."
