It felt like Tara had barley closed her eyes when they were woken up.
Mrs. Weasley knocked on the door, "Girls!" She called. Ginny groaned and Tara heard Hermione get up.
"Girls I'm not leaving until I hear some sign of life" Mrs. Weasley called into them.
Tara sat up and rubbed her eyes. "We're up" she mumbled, with Ginny and Hermione. Ginny had her hands over her eyes and Hermione was stretching, eyes half closed.
"Good." Mrs. Weasley called back before continuing up the stairs to the boys.
Tara looked out the window and groaned, the sky was still dark and you could still see the stars, twinkling.
"Ugh" Ginny groaned, "I've changed my mind. I don't want to go." she sat up and pulled the covers over her head.
"We should probably get moving," Hermione groaned, who, despite her exhaustion, still sounded the most coherent of the lot.
"Yeah, yeah" Tara said groggily, standing up and stumbling to her trunk. "Merlin help us when we have to go back to school."
"At least we won't be getting up at this ungodly hour." Ginny complained, throwing her covers off. She held her hands out, "Tara, help me up."
Tara pulled her jumper on quickly before grabbing Ginny's hands and pulling her up.
"Thank you"
"Anytime, Ginevra" Tara said nonchalantly.
"We're dressing like muggles today" Ginny thought aloud, "right?"
"Right" Tara confirmed.
"Right. Wonderful, Tara you'll have to help me" Ginny yawned.
"Why me and not the person who actually grew up in a muggle home?" Tara questioned.
"I'm almost dressed," Hermione told Ginny, "I'll help you."
"Thank you" Ginny singsonged before looking pointedly at Tara.
"You said you wear robes at home" Hermione said turning to Tara.
"I do. However, sometimes I wear muggle clothes. When I'm going out or just some day when I feel like it" Tara shrugged, "I know how to dress like a muggle because Dad likes to think of himself as some sort of fashionista. Maybe that's a bad thing on my end but..." Tara trailed off as she yawned again.
"You look fine" Hermione reassured.
"Thank you" Tara gave Hermione a tired thumbs up before leaning on her trunk and closing her eyes, "I wish I could aparate."
"Don't we all", Ginny agreed, as Hermione threw one of Ginny's jumpers at her from her drawers.
"I look matching enough, yeah Hermione?" Tara asked, when she had finished getting dressed
Hermione looked her up and down, "Yeah, that's what's the key, match colors as much as you can but don't be all on one color."
"Nice. I'll take note of that" Tara said absentmindedly, picking up two more jumpers and two pairs of jeans from her trunk and throwing them into a small shoulder bag.
"Oh, is that an undetectable extension charm?" Hermione enquired.
"Yep. My sister did it for me before leaving" Tara answered, "comes in handy" she finished as she threw in some last bits and pieces into the bag before zipping it shut.
When they were all ready and packed, the girls headed downstairs.
"Why do we have to be up so early?" asked Ginny rubbing her eyes and sitting down at the table.
