*The grogginess starts fading i slowly start waking up in the ship's medical bay with a pounding headache*

Kaiden: Doctor. Doctor! My brother's waking up!

*I slowly sit up and Clutch my head hoping my dizziness fades soon*

Doctor chakwas: You had us worried there, Alenko. How you feeling?

Y/n: I feel dizzy and got a killer headache but I'm breathing. How long was I out for?

Doctor chakwas: About 15 hours. Something happened down there with the beacon, I think.

Jane: I must've activated some kind of field when I got too close. You pulled me out of it

Y/n: Well im glad it was me and not you Jane *Jokingly salutes*

Jane: Still I appreciate you taking my place. I was worried about you. Reckless as always

Y/n: Like I said "You worry too much*

Doctor chakwas: Regardless, we don't even know what truly set it off. Unfortunately, we'll never get the chance to find out

Y/n: Let me guess. It blew up when it knocked my ass out?

Kaiden: You got that right. It was probably a system overload. The blast knocked you out cold. The commanders both carried you ass here. Even unconscious you still get carried

Doctor chakwas: *Clears throat to get back everyone's attention* physically, you're fine. But I detected some unusual brain activity, unusual beta waves

Kaiden: The fact he has brain functions should be unusual by itself

Doctor chakwas: All reading looks fine. I'd say the lieutenant commander's gonna be just fine

Captain Anderson: Glad to hear it. I'd like to speak to the LC and commander- in private

Kaiden: *Salutes* Aye, aye, captain. I'll be in the mess hall, if you need me *Both Kaiden and the doctor leave the medbay*

Captain Anderson: *Looks at y/n* Looks like that beacon hit you hard, LC. You sure you're okay

Y/n: As long as I'm breathing, I'm fit for duty, captain

Jane: You said you needed to talk to us in private, captain?

Captain: I won't lie to the two of you. Things look bad. Nihlus is dead. The beacon is destroyed and the geth invading. The council's going to want answers

Jane: My team and I did noting wrong, captain. Hopefully, the council will see that

Captain Anderson: I'll stand behind you and your report, Shepard. Your team's are heroes in my books. That's not why I'm here. It's saren, that other turian. Saren's a spectre, one of the best. A living legend. But if he's working with the geth, it mean he's gone rogue.
