I need you help with 2 things:
1: Who decide who lives through Vermire?
Ashley?
Kaiden?
2: Should mass effect 2 story have its on story or just continue it on THIS story?
Now I won't be able to continue this story until I get a choice mad for the vermire survivor. I'll have on chapter left until it's on hold for a decision to be made by you guys. Also I wanted to apologize for not adding any picture to the story that's my bad. Couldn't get anything good for a while and it was too late to start doing that at THIS point. The next stories I make WILL include picture and more descriptions. I will possibly remake or make a new mass effect story down the line as the time goes by with my writing. Remember to those who think "Why is this like this and not like that?" Well that's for 2 reasons. 1. You don't tell me what's wrong. 2. I'm just starting out so I'm a beginner. I can't even get tags right so bare with me.

I FORGOT TO MENTION!!
In mass effect 2, we'll be adding an OC. A female turian named Vallah ( who will have her bio and history ) who's going to be joining Y/n
I'll be doing a "Bio" for Y/n after what happened since both John and Jane died
Now for my plan:
If Kaiden dies: The relationship with Jane suffers and he ends up dating Vallah in mass effect 2. He's gonna be cold and ruthless and act more like a renegade Shepard. The playful side of him will be completely gone. He'll be able to get back with Jane but that's your decision. ( I'll have a poll later on in me2 )
If Ashley dies: He'll believe he could've done something more to save her but he's just glad Shepard saved Kaiden. His relationship with jane will improved dramatically and will stay loyal and Vallah will be a sister figure instead. He'll still be playful and sarcastic.
I'll leave the poll open for a full week and a half to 2 weeks after the chapter named "The rachni and the soldier left to die" to decide who survives vermire. THANKS FOR READING AND VOTING!
