[Y/n POV]

We returned to the Normandy after we recruited Samara but it's not over. We've got Thane to recruit on illium so we go once again. I leave Snuff behind for her to rest and I leave with Jane and Vallah

We head to meet with an asari named Seryna who liara told us about

Jane: "Seryna?" She asks to confirm we got the right person

Seryna: "Who wants to know?" She says not even glancing at us from her monitor

Jane: "Name's Shepard. Liara T'soni said you might have so information about Thane Krios" she says

Seryna: "Tana. Cover for me" she tells her asari coworker and gets out of her seat and jesters us to follow her to chat

I honestly don't pay attention trying to list off people who thane would be after. I hear bits and pieces but I don't pay attention. I'm having an off day. Before we met with Samara, an asari delivered a message. It was from the Rachni queen we saved back on Noveria. In my head, I know it's the queen, but it sounds more like my mother speaking to me. It's a feeling I can't explain. After meeting her and getting the message, I've been having visions. I kept feeling those visions and my mind has been drifting. After a while, Jane nudges me. She tells me an asari named Nassana is the confirmed target and that Seryna is going to give us a lift. We all hop in the aircab and land on Dantius towers. The moment we land we see 2 Fenrir mechs and 2 ordinary mechs. Once clear, we see a heavily injured Salarian on the ground.

Salarian worker: "Help..." He says struggling to breathe

Y/n: "He looks like he doesn't have long, Jane" I tell her but instead of healing him... she plays twenty questions... while he's bleeding out. Is... is this a fetish for him? "Oh I'll help you... after you answer my questions while you bleed to death. Question one: Who was the first prime minister of Canada? Yes, I don't care your a Salarian and have no idea about human history. I need my answer" Help him first, Jane

Salarian worker: "I can't feel my legs... my chest is killing me" he says weakly

Jane: "Who did this to you? And why?" She asks him... while he's still dying. Jane, fix your priorities babe!

Salarian worker: "We're just night workers! Nassana... sent them after us... she sent the mechs to round us up, but we didn't hear... they just started shouting" he says in a weak tone... which he wouldn't if you'd heal him!

Jane: "Someone's here to kill nassana. I need to find him" she says. Again, we could just heal him and go

Salarian worker: "I haven't seen anyone. But that explains... the mechs said there was no time. Nassana said they wanted us out of the way... immediately. Then... the dogs" he says now coughing a bit of blood. Again, Jane, HEAL HIM!

Y/n: "Jane, maybe Now's a good time to heal him. We can play twenty questions afterwards" I say sassily and she just nods and uses her med gel.... FINALLY!!!

Jane: "Here. That should ease the pain and keep you alive until help arrives" she says gently

Salarian Worker: "I think I'm... better. Find the other workers. Help them" he says while struggling to stand up

With that, we move on. We soon encounter eclipse merchs and mechs. With our outstanding teamwork we handle them. And by team work I definitely don't mean let me draw their fire like they have automatic targeting or something while they handle them. Only for me to then use my tactical cloak and take out the heavy units by myself to then get fully targeted again. No, no. Purely teamwork only

Once we handle that unit, we face another. Wash rinse and repeat. Down they all go and you'll never believe what we find! Another unit of eclipse and mechs!!! What a fucking surprise. We then go up a floor and hear two people arguing that then gets cut off my more mechs. We handle the first few and get face to face with another unit.... It's endless! I swear I'll be the reason we destroyed with human race, with how many eclipse merchs we've killed. We wrap that team of mechs... to then face another. Are they just cloning them or something? It feels endless here. Once clear, we see a locked door. Unlocking it reveals more workers. Hey I'll take anything as a break from these guys
