Mass Effect 2: Epilogue

[Y/n POV ]

It's been about 5 months after the defeat of the collector base. Here's what happened within those 5 months

First: Jane and I go married! I had proposed after inviting her to a ridiculously Exclusive restaurant. Being friends with the shadow broker has benefits. I remember that moment beautifully.

Going to the restaurant dressed in my dark blue tuxedo as she dressed up in a gorgeous dark red dress. Pretending to have dropped something and kneeling with the ring and her only noticing after another customer gasps. Her hands covering her mouth

Saying: "Jane Serena Shepard. I've been with you since the beginning. I've stood by your side during Saren's attempt to bring back the reapers. I've followed you to stop the collectors and save the colonists. I've done all that as a soldier following their commander and as a friend coming to your aid. Now I want to stand by your side as something special... something I wouldn't dream of having with anyone else across the galaxy. So I ask you this, Jane... will you marry me? Will you let me stay by your side from this day on? To let me follow you not as my commander, but as my gorgeous wife?" And seeing her tear up and say yes as I place that ring on her finger and sharing that blissful kiss that made us so ridiculously happy. It was the happiest moment of my life

At the wedding, My best man was naturally Kaiden and Jane's Maid of honour was Vallah. The ceremony was outstanding and I have a picture of my beautiful wife in her gorgeous wedding dress in a locket hanging around my neck. Her dress was very light blue heading towards lavender or close to white and my suit had matched. Anderson was the one who walked her down the isle since he father had passed years ago. He was touched by the offer and she'd tears. My team on omega was there, John was there, hell even aria fucking showed up. At the wedding, I was able to meet Hannah Shepard, Jane's mom. I can see exactly where Jane got her looks from. Her and her mom look nearly identical. Our marriage... I'll never forget this moment for the rest of my life. From that day on, I became Y/n Shepard. Unusual for me taking her last name, but I wanted this.

Second: Vallah left the blue hunter and decided to follow Jack wherever she went. Last I head she went to Grissom academy to help biotic children. No, Vallah doesn't go there, but helps from time to time. They're committed together and I heard they're thinking of marriage in the future. At this time, they now own Urz as a gorgeous pet. They both own another Varren Named Eezo who both "Share" Snuff as their mate. My girl's got a mini harem going on

Third: I introduced Tali to my old team since she was curious to who had fought with me. She hit it off surprisingly well with Malo and last I heard, they started going out. Slow and steady. I may or not have threatened to rip off his helmet if he ever hurt my baby sis. He's a friend, but that's still my baby sis he's dating

Fourth: Garrus decided to go home back to palaven. He wanted to see his sister and father. Last I heard, he joined the Turian army. He started up a relationship with Dr. Michel and they're happy together.

Fifth: Miranda completely went off the grid. She left Cerberus, but completely went silent. I have no clue where she is, but I know she's looking out for Ariana from the shadows

Sixth: Mordin also went silent. After leaving, we haven't heard or seen mordin at all. I don't know what happened, but I know he's alive somewhere.

Seventh: Thane is unfortunately just counting his days as his sickness slowly takes over. He's spending what little time he has with his son. Ufala and him actually got together. She wants to be with him until his end nears and Koliat is actually welcoming to her. It's adorable... yet tragic

Eighth: Grunt, My baby boy, returned back Tuchanka to fight as Urdnot. From the updates, I hear he's a rebel. He's strong as he is thick headed. That's why he's my baby boy!

Ninth: Samara went after her original target back when we recruited her. After succeeded in her mission, she went silent. No clue where she ended up, but I wish her well.

Tenth: To nobodies surprise, Kasumi went off grid. Nobodies heard from her and nobody knows where she is. She's back stealing from everyone.... The Bitch stole 20,000 credits from me before she left, too. Oddly enough, she returned that exact same amount before my wedding. Saying "Congratulations, Blueberry! My gift is a return investment". Bitch

Eleventh: Legion went silent as well. We all assume he returned back to the Perseus veil or wherever the geth fleet are, but I wish him well. That geth had more personality than Jacob and I'll miss that robot

Twelfth: The Death of Jacob Taylor... Had no impact. We kinda forgot he died and just moved along. Kasumi was kinda heartbroken since she devolved a crush on him, but a good ole smack and saying "Raise your standards" got her to get over him fast. None of us really were affected and were past him

Thirteenth: After our wedding and honeymoon, Jane was put to trial for killing 300,000 batarians by blowing up a relay. My wife is crazy... god I love calling her my wife! But yeah, she's crazy. Thanks to her stopping the reapers and the good word from Anderson, she wasn't courtmartialed and discharged. They did take away her ship so she was fucking pissed. Last I heard from my gorgeous wife, she's back in Canada and just... stays there on the alliance base. Once this is all over, we're having a kid. We feel like the endgame is coming so we decided it'll be time.

Fourteenth: I was right about My pups getting close. After a month a half, I say Snuff's belly get bigger. It was Confirmed she had puppies. I have pictures. Now the only issue is we have no idea if it ACTUALLY belongs to Urz or to Eezo

Fifteenth: Liara became the shadow broker and talked about something about going to Mars. Unfortunately, That's all I know. Jane and I along with Feron are the only people who know she's the shadow broker. It's to keep her safe and her secret

And Last but no least: I'm back working with Aria on omega. My team missed me and it felt good to see them again. Aria missed me as well even though she'll never admit it. I'm running the blue hunters again and I'm back as Aria's right hand man. I gave her all the non classified updates and that's all really for me. The alliance did say I was welcomed back, but my loyalty is with Aria. Well, with my wife... but yeah I don't really care about the alliance or the council. I like the freedom here on omega.

Right! I also located some information about "Project: Phoenix". It's a project funded by.... Drum roll please.... CERBERUS! Cerberus and this unknown Organization for were swapping information to further enhance Vallah and jack. One of the Cerberus bases I raided showed that "Project: Chimera" is a Frankenstein abomination. Using DNA from all known Alien race to create the ultimate weapon. I got only small extra detail. I didn't get the original subject's name, but I know the subject was only just born before the test begun. The test subject was documented at aged "3 hours old" and mentioned the mother died during the birth... it said in the documents "The woman begged for death and died before seeing her baby. Sacrifices are required for this project". Heartless bastard! Unfortunately, that's all I learned so that's all I've got

That's pretty much wraps it all up that's all that's happened in the last 5 months and I have this gut feeling... this little moment of relief... Is going to end

Okay guys! The epilogue for me2 is done! I won't be updating for a while, but I'll work on this story on my own time. Whenever I need to ask question or have an important decision to be made, I'll update. I have 2 chapters left before the break and it's basic knowledge for the me3 story.
