10 minutes... it took 10 minutes for this stupid elevator to reach the council again. We can travel across the galaxy but still have a slow as hell elevator. Well at least it'll give us time to think about the council and what's next on our list.

We arrive on the top floor of citadel towers and see captain Anderson already there waiting for us to let us know the hearing is already underway. Welp let's fucking do this

We walk up to the stand as we hear that same audio from tali's omnitool

Udina: You wanted proof? There it is *He says while pointing at them dramatically*

Sparatus: This evidence is irrefutable, ambassador. Saren will be stripped of his specter status and all effort will be made to bring him to answer for his crimes

Tevos: I recognize that other voice, the one speaking with saren. Matriarch benezia

John: She must be working with the geth too then

Tevos: Matriarch benesia is a powerful biotic and she has many followers. She will make a formidable ally for saren

So we're dealing with a now former specter a geth army and an asari unit. Fan fuck tastic! Again I swear he's just gonna have a krogan army too. Why not add another army? I don't think he's got enough

Valern: I'm more interested in the reapers. What do you know about them?

Why ask? You know Damn well none of you are gonna believe us.

Anderson: Only what was extracted from the geth memory core. The reapers were an ancient  race of machines that wiped out the protheans. Then they vanished

Im currently lost in thought as to how this all wraps up. I mean... the geth wants the reapers back because that's their gods and all. Saren wants to kill off the humans but... why? I mean sure I'm not fans of batarians or the pink jellyfish preaching about their gods at any chance they've got but I wouldn't want to bring a damn god back to do it. And what does this matriarch fit in all this? What's HER goal in this?

I snap out of it after I hear both shepards walking forward and I pay attention and smile wide knowing two of three people I care most in the world are about to make history and I couldn't be more proud of them

Trevos: It is the decision of the council that you be granted all the power and privileges of the special tactics and reconnaissance branch of the citadel

Sparatus: Specters bear a great burden. They are protectors of the galactic peace, both our first and last line of defence. The safety of the galaxy is theirs to uphold.

Tevos: You are first human Specters, commanders. This is a great accomplishment for you and your entire race

John and Jane: we're honoured, councillors

*Both John and Jane bow their heads*

Valern: We're sending you into the traverse after saren. He's a fujative from peace, so you are authorized to use any means to apprehend or eliminate him

John: We'll both find him
