When the dismissal from the captain and from our "lovable" ambassador Shepard gave some free time to look around since it's been a long time I've last been back to the citadel and my god does it look as good as I remember it. Passing through to the financial district I decided I need some extra firepower and got my self a new assault riffle and headed up to the tower to meet back up with my team.

*Time skip 8 minutes later* I reach the top of citadel tower. I never got clearance to go hear and it's calm up here. A nice place to see a bit of greenery after my near death from that beacon. I walk up to reach my team

Y/n: Sorry to keep you waiting Shepard one ( being Jane ) and Shepard two ( being John )

Jane: Glad you can make it. Udina is just ahead

John: You know I never knew why you always called me "Shepard two". Want to explain that to me?

*I look him dead in the eyes and smirk since I know they both never figured it out since I joined their team years ago at the start of my career*

Y/n: Easy. I like Jane more. She gets me in less trouble than you do Johnny boy

*Jane starts laughing softly as my brother's chuckles at my honesty while John has a mock hurt expression while Ashley looks at us funny*

John: *While fake hurt in his voice* That's why? The betrayal LC

*We all laugh for a minute before we arrive and see a turian arguing with another*

*A turian wearing a standard C-sec uniform is arguing with his superior*

Garrus: Saren's hiding something! Just give me a little more time. Stall them. *He says with a slight voice of desperation*

Executor palin: Stall the council? Don't be ridiculous! *He shakes his head in disappointment*. Your investigation's over, garrus *We walks off before garrus can plead his case once more*

Garrus sighs in defeat as he spots us and walks over

Garrus: Commanders Shepard. Garrus vakarian. I was the c-sec officer in charge of the investigation on saren

Jane: Sounds like you wanna bring him down

Garrus: *He crosses him arms* I don't trust him. Something about him rubs me the wrong way. *He pauses for a moment but continues and speaks with defeat and annoyance* But he's a Specter. Everything be touches *Sigh* It's all classified. I can't find any hard evidence

Kaiden: I think the council's ready for us, commanders.

Garrus: Good luck shepards. Maybe they'll listen to the two of you *He then walks off and heads for the elevator.... He's gonna have fun in there for the next 10 minutes*

We then walk towards the council and I'll be completely honest I was in my own thoughts about how we'd find anything to nail this bastard. I mean he's got an immunity to the council and a damn geth army plus that big ass ship. What's next? A damn krogan army? I'm taken out of my thought by the asari councillor

Trevos: This meeting is adjourned

We all walked away knowing that we've got nothing and they won't listen to us.... No surprise there I think in an upset but not surprised tone

Udina: IT was a mistake bringing you into that hearing, captain. You and saren share too much history. It made them question our motives
