My golden eyes blinked sluggishly as I saw Alex crouch down in front of me.
"Jonathan," he said, but to me his voice was slow and wispy.
I blinked once and whispered,"Run," and closed my eyes. I entered a dark oblivion but I wasn't THERE. I could see and breath but I couldn't see anything or feel my own hand. Suddenly, I felt a thousand volts of electricity coursing through my missing body. I sat up with a start and saw Alex next to me. I fought my blush and looked at him.
"A-are you okay Jonathan?" His voice shook.
"Yes," I said simply.
He enveloped me into a hug and held me for what seems like hours, not that I'm complaining.
"Now," he said, letting go."explain."
"I-I don't know, my family never believed me and I know no one with my flaw," Jonathan said.
"Hey, it's not a flaw, it's what makes you you," Alex said.
"Well, what am I supposed to do know?" Jonathan asked.
"I-I don't know."
"Wait!"
"What?"
"In my parents house, there is this one drawer that no one else is supposed to touch because it's about our past. They all said never to focus on the past. Maybe there is something that could help?"
I grabbed Alex's hand and dashed to my house. We crept past the bedrooms and came towards the drawer. I slowly opened it and it seemed to glow. Inside it was an old piece of paper that was crumpled up like a pirates map. It read "Long ago there was a boy named Fredrick Wilter who was born with golden eyes into the Wilter family. He was a complete outcast, most of the town thought he had gone quite insane. He claimed to see visions of his kind as evil, brutal people. Then one day he was found passed out on the floor, and had awaken with a new personality. He was pure evil and set out to destroy his kind. He managed to kill my siblings and his grandparents but his parents survived and lived on the family name." That's when I saw a photo next to the description and there was the golden eyed boy who I had just visioned, the boy that almost killed me.
