We made it out of Fredrick's lair and you wouldn't understand how overjoyed I was to see sunlight. I missed the New York sky and the bustling noises of people calling taxis and cars honking their horns and people strumming their guitars on the streets with wide eyes begging for tips. I know what you're probably thinking, "But Jonathan! Why are you so happy to see home? Isn't this where all your hurt and pain is?" Well let me tell you, the difference between then and now is that now I don't have anxiety about my family or future or any of this. The only anxiety I have is, is about this weird quest. I'm sure you've noticed I'm quite over sensitive and get overly attached to things, (What a catch I know right?) So this is something I'm not looking forward to. Elaina broke my daydreaming when she pushed her hair out of her face and called "TAXI? TAXI!" A bright yellow cab pulled up and splashed a puddle on a couple making out on a bench near us, causing them to shriek and flip off the taxi driver, then run off in disgust. Alex giggled at the sight, what a nerd. We all got squished tight in the cab, when the driver turned around and ordered,"Where to?" He had a worn out baseball cap and he looked like he hadn't shaved in weeks, I'm pretty sure that there was a potato chip stuck in his beard. Not to mention the awful stench and vibe the cab was giving off. El seemed to ignore it and put on a sparkling smile,"Um actually you can just keep driving and I'll tell you when to stop." She then proceeded to hand the driver a wad of cash. He shrugged and started driving. Alex and I turned to her in shock,"Where did you get all that money?" I demanded. She just smirked then put in her headphones, leaning her head against the window. I still wanted to know more about her life after she got kicked out of our home. She was quite vague about it, and I wonder if that was for a reason. Soon she jerked up and yelled,"Stop! Stop! This is our destination!" He stopped and we tumbled out. I looked out to see a forest covered in bright greens. I could hear the sounds of the insects buzzing and the animals calling. It was magnificent. Elaina grabbed our arms and pulled us into the forest saying,"Come on guys lets go hunt for a heart!"
