"Whoa, I didn't mean to make you upset!" Alex shouted.
"Y-you didn't." I stuttered.
"Well then?"
"I-well, I-"
Thunder shook the house. Alex has a fear of storms ever since he got stuck in one. Alex let out a squeak and ran to me. I wrapped my arms around him and tried not to hyperventilate. "It'll be okay Alex."
"I-I know, I just feel safer with you around."
Don't destroy anything, please control your emotions.
Nothing shattered. I let out a sigh relief. I wasn't going have to confess to Alex anytime soon.
I woke up and smiled to myself as I saw Alex sound asleep next to me. We were laying on the hardwood floor of his house, but we were the only ones there. Alex was an only child, but his parents were madly in love. Now this may sound cute but they never seemed to notice Alex too much, they were just always together and Alex seemed to be scarred by how many times he's seen them.. Well I should just stop right there. Anyway there were on another one of their romantic getaways to some expensive place. Alex on the other hand was massively intelligent and taught himself how to live on his own for most of the time. He was constantly happy which confused me so much, but then again he probably was just staying strong just for me. Oh gosh, I love him. He then sprung up from my grip and said,"Alright so how do we find Fredrick?" What a dork.
