The memory escaped from his grasp and flew around the room until it appeared into a giant screen. Soon appeared a girl, laying drowsily on the ground. Her long, flowing hair wrapped around her body and she tugged at her pillow, groaning in pain. That's when I peered at it again and noticed it was Maya. She placed her hand softly on her stomach, and rubbed it. Alarms went off in my mind telling me one thing: she was pregnant. I'm guessing this is what happened after her mishap with Elliot. After I looked around I took note of a few things, Maya appeared to be homeless. Probably after her parents found out about what she had gotten into, they weren't too pleased and kicked her to the curb. A wave of sadness slowly washed over me, even though she was evil and selfish I could relate to her. I remember the day my parents kicked me out like it was yesterday. I was skipping home from school happily with Jonathan, yet a million questions were scattered in my mind. That day we were learning about how we got genes from our parents, and I was very confused about mine. But once I saw the look on my parents' faces when the questions escaped my lips I sure knew one thing: They wanted me out. They wailed, their faces streaming with tears, telling me I wasn't their child. I was told to make it out on my own, because I was the only family I'd ever receive. I shivered away from that memory that was pierced in my brain, and turned my attention back to the video. Maya squeaked and soon I realized her water had broke. A bunch of strangers crowded around her and held her hand through the pain. Luckily the video didn't show the birth, I sure was not here to see that. The crowd simmered down, and I saw her gently cradling a little baby boy. His eyes were sealed shut, but he looked so calm and peaceful. "What's his name what's his name?" A little girl shouted to her. Maya blushed and studied her new child for a bit then said,"His name is Fredrick. Fredrick Wilter." Then the baby's eyes flickered open, and glowed bright gold.
