I tried to kick off the sweaty sheets and instead got tangled in them and fell of the bed. I struggled to get up and accidentally knocked over a vase and shattered it. And then I tripped again on my own feet and fell on the shards, scratching all over my arms.
"Oww," I moaned.
I got up hesitantly and stood there on confusion. I had made SO much noise, how come Alex and El hadn't heard?
I tiptoed into the room and saw them sitting up, quietly whispering. Both of them hadn't even noticed I walked into the room. El quietly laughed at something Alex had said, and suddenly I felt my heart squeeze.
I definitely was jealous.
I slipped away and dresses my wounds, trying to focus on anything but THEM.
The dream.
So, it was obvious that Elliot had gotten mad at Maya, but what had he yelled at her?
A cuss word or... Or..
A curse?
It makes sense, how the curse was brought into the Wilter family! So that means to destroy the curse, we have to trace back to Elliot's and Maya's roots.
I sprang up and ran into Alex and El's room, and turned on the light.
"Whoa JON WHAT HAPPENED?" El panicked when seeing my arms.
"Who cares? It wasn't important at the time," I said coldly, go in them an annoyed look.
"Any way, I think I got our next lead," I said, and began to explain.

I watched as El's and Alex's eyes widen when I finished sharing about my latest vision.
"I have to go write this down.. Hold on.." El mumbled, running out of the room.
I tried not making eye contact with Alex, but it didn't work.
He gave me a warm smile and said,"C'mon Jon, let me rewrap you're bandages, you really can't do medical jazz."
I looked down at my arms and saw just a mess of white cloth that was being bled through by a brilliant shade of red.
I let him guide me to the kitchen counter and I sat on a chair.
He knelt in front of me(he's always been taller than me) and began redoing my bandages.
Oh god Jon, don't stare. The glass on the table began gently shaking since I was silently having a meltdown, and I prayed nothing would explode.
Right when I was sure something would shatter, Alex let go of my arms and stood up."All done," he smiled again and I smiled back. His smiled were contagious.
El walked into the room shaking is from our stare and looked at me.
"Jon, I need you to... I don't know how to say this... FORCE a vision."
"What?" I said with confusion, standing up.
"I need you to have another vision to give us some more answers," she said, looking urgent.
"I don't know how!" I said. Of course, I had never been able to meet anyone's expectations, this being an excellent example.
"It's okay, just go to sleep, and turn off your brain, we just need a vision. Please?" She looked at me with big brown eyes and I sighed with defeat. I walked back to the couch and buried my head in it, praying that I would fail.
Like always.
--
The vision came faster than normal. One moment I was dozing off, and the next moment I was falling onto a cold marble floor.
"Ow, why do I always hurt myself?" I muttered.
I sat up and gasped.
It worked.
I was back in the room with the photographs. I walked up to one, and another, and another.
"Oh Jonny! What a pleasure to see you again!"
I whipped around and saw the same flickering golden figure that had been leaving me restless and confused for the past hours.
Fred.
"I hope you've come to assist me on my conquering of the world my dear boy?" He said, the words leaving his mouth in a thin wisp of smoke.
He floated closer and his blurry image became clear.
Rotting teeth, wrinkles on his face, and permanent set scowl, all of these cause a shiver to run down my back.
"Er-yes, Fredrick, I've come to join you." I needed more information, this was the only way.
His scowl twitched into a horrifying smile, stretching his wrinkly skin.
"Oh how wonderful! See, I knew you would come to your senses!" He clapped and moved around excitedly.
"Um, Fredrick, I have a question."
"Oh yes Jonny, ask away!"
"Um, well, all your minions are people are people you killed because they knew secrets about the golden eye. Why are they following your orders and not taking revenge?"
"Oh, yes! It's my power!"
"Um, I'm not understanding."
"You see, my golden eyes have gifted me the ability to brain wash innocent, non-genes people. Even your friend, Alex, yes, if he enters my chamber here," he waved his arms around."I would have the ability to brain wash him!" He smiled again and looked at me.
"Oh-uh how-how...wonderful."
"Yes! And your power, is much stronger than mine, sadly. Your EMOTIONS. You can control your powers based off your emotions. The moving glass, shattering lights, these are all because of a strong emotion you've felt!"
"Oh, thank you Fredrick." I was trying to figure all this out, but the information was swimming in my head.
"Oh, oh dear. You must leave. But, I will see you soon Jon!" His voice left an eerie chill in the chamber, and suddenly everything went black.
--
"GAH!" I woke up, siting straight.
"Whoa, Jon are you all right?" Alex asked, his eyebrows coming together and concern lacing his voice.
"Uh-yeah."
El hurried over with a little notebook, making a LOT of noise with her combat boots.
I took a deep breath, and explained everything Fred had said, except one thing.
The ability to brain wash Alex.
I couldn't get myself to take about that, I didn't like talking about Alex like he was vulnerable. Because he wasn't.
"Oh my gosh, I know what we need to do," El said, standing up.
"What?" Alex and I asked in unison.
"I need to teach you two how to fight, like battle-fight," she said, a sparkling glint in her eyes.
