I slammed my eyes shut, and ran blindly. Unfortunately, my eyes were whipped open, so I had to watch mashed up food and saliva move around. I felt his disgusting taste buds run all over me, and the smell of Fred's mouth made me dizzy. Then I felt a cool breeze of air, and then a floating sensation. Then a falling sensation.
Falling.
Wheeeeee!
FALLING.
Uh, wheeeeee.
FALLING.
AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH.
And crashing.
"Ow," I rubbed my head, which seemed to have fallen on a thick, stone floor. "Are you ok? Jon?" I heard a panicked voice beside me, and saw Alex's eyes staring at me with wild concern. I felt my face go red, and stumbled awkwardly to my feet. "Yeah, I'm fine, uh, you?"
He gave me a nod with a smile, and we walked over to El, who was curled up in a tiny position.
"El, are you ok?" I asked. She shot me a smile and stumbled to her feet." Ohhhh yeah I'm fine, its not like we ran out of a tounge and fell face first onto a marble floor," she said, throwing her hands up.
"Oh I'm so sorry dear, but I really couldn't stop you."
The same insane voice came from behind us. We all slowly turned around, just to see Fred, in all of his goldeness.
"Okay! Had fun in there?" he asked, rubbing his hands together, and flitting his eyes around.
"Uh yeah, um Fred.." Alex started.
"Yes?" He turned his terrifying eyes onto Alex.
" We uh, we're ready. For our first mission." Alex cleared his throat, and awkwardly stepped forward.
"Oh, I SEE. Well..." Fred spun around in circles and loops, thinking, while we waited.
"OH OH WAIT WAIT I GOT IT." He stopped in front of us.
"Let's go with a classic twist on a modern murder. I want you...
to kill someone."
What.
None of us moved, staring, not being able to comprehend what Fredrick was saying.
Kill someone?
"And as proof, I want you to bring me their heart." His creepy childish behavior was gone, and he seemed 10,000 times more terrifying.
"BE GONE!" He swished his hands in a swift upwards motion, and everything went black. The falling sensation came again, and this time, we landed in a massive, ungraceful heap on Alex's front door.
"My.. spine.." I weakly muttered, considering I was lying face first on the door mat, with El on top of me, and then Alex on top. After I regained the feeling in my back, we walked inside and quietly sat on the couch.
"What did he mean," El finally asked, "When he said ' a classic twist on a modern murder'?"
I sat there, racking my brain, when it hit me.
"I-It's like Snow White. We have to kill someone, then bring Fred the person's heart." I quietly said.
Then Alex spoke up.
"Who said it had to be a person?"
