I awoke shivering as Fredrick's breathing echoed off the walls. I had horrid dreams, so terrifying that I hoped they'd never come true. I was probably clinging onto Jonathan all night, so I checked to make sure I didn't rip his arm off. He was fast asleep but had a fearful expression, and was shaking like a chihuahua. I patted him lightly,"Jonathan? Jonathan! Are you okay?" He jerked around then sat up like nothing happened. He plastered on a fake smile,"Oh I'm okay just weird dreams." He then scurried off to his backpack to grab a granola bar to munch on. I knew something was going on, and it was more than just "weird dreams," so I'd have to dig into that later. It's always been my job to look after Jon, not that I didn't love it. He had some much pain in his life, and I tried my very best for to make that pain wash away. Elaina was in the corner nodding her head with her headphones in. I crawled over to her and asked,"Fall out boy?" She nodded and said,"I've taught you well." Elaina was really great, I loved it when she taught me about music. The glowing expression she had when she talked about music, which was her biggest passion, made me feel so happy to see. She was also very smart and sure was tough, all of her stories of being out and alone made me wonder what I had been doing with my life. I glanced at the two of them and said,"How about we take a hike to get out of... yanno... Fredrick." They nodded and we all sleepily trudged in silence. To them, walking through Fredrick's throat was weird and horrifying, but I was fascinated. I secretly took all these pictures, my inner nerd was practically squealing. Soon it felt like we had been walking for an hour, did we pass his mouth? That's when we entered into somewhere that left me scarred for the rest of my life. On one side of the room, images and videos were flashing of Fredrick's childhood. The other side was piled up like a giant sandwich of math facts, words, battle strategies, all of his knowledge. I immediately took a picture of that. The next side looked like a dark hole full of his fears. And overall the place echoed with Fredrick's thoughts. I motioned for Jonathan and Elaina to be extremely quiet, if we talked at all Fredrick would hear us. We were inside his brain.
