"So, what's going to happen to me? Will I leave Hogwarts?" Iris was in the headmaster's office with the rest of the Headmasters, Professors, and the Ministry.
"Of course, you will! Not only will the parents worry of their child's safety, but Grindelwald is after you. With him being on school grounds means nothing is safe anymore! This is absolutely preposterous!" the Minister said.
"I think it's better that she stays here. She keeps the students safe. Better than I can alone" Dumbledore said.
"Are you out of your mind?! Two students died. Did you not see he breached the school's defense" the Minister said.
"He did not enter the school grounds, so nothing was breached, though he was quite near it. Abella and Christopher came back to life, so no one truly died. Iris has a powerful form of ancient magic. If she's far away from her friends and the other students, Grindelwald can come back and harm this school further. She can keep us safe. The defense of this school can be rebuilt and enhanced" Dumbledore said.
"As outrageous of an idea that is, I agree" McGonagall said, surprising the others as she is the strictest of all, "Iris is incredibly powerful. She's well and capable of protecting this school. She can even help us make Hogwart's defense stronger to prevent another incident like this. She knows Grindelwald and his tactics"
"Headmaster Dippet, are you hearing this?" the Minister said
"I'm all for protecting the students. Iris knew how to handle the situation without further aggravating Grindelwald. We don't know his true motives or any secret weapon he has. Until we do, making sure there are no casualties is our best option" Dippet said.
"He's right. There were a number of ways this could have turned out. Iris protected students of mine" The Headmistress of Beauxbatons said.
"And mine too" the Headmaster of Llevermony said.
"And the parents? For them to find out their child is going to school with a criminal?" Minister said.
"There were families here that saw what had played out. They can see Iris's true intentions." Dumbledore said.
"We will sit this out and see. But if anything...and I mean anything happens...this is all on you...ALL of you" the Minister said before taking his leave along with the other officials.
"So did I win?" Iris said.
"Let's just call it a tie" Dippet said.
Students were waiting right outside the entrance of the faculty tower to not only see Abella and Christopher, but to see Iris in her true form. The three champions walk out, students cheered for them.
"IRIS!" Augustana and Nicollete pushed to the crowd.
"It's a relief to see you!" Nicollete said as the three of them hug each other.
"Are you okay?" Augustana said.
"We're all fine" Iris said.
"All right everyone! Let's head over to the Great Hall! We'll announce our first ever tie in Tri-Wizard history!" McGonagall said.
After the ceremony, everyone retired to their dorms. In the Slytherin Common Room, Iris walked in with Augustana and Nicollete. Lestat sees her and walks up.
"So it was you the entire time. I should've known" Lestat said.
"I wasn't that obvious, right?" Iris said.
"Let's just say I'm not surprised that it was you all along. I'm glad you are doing well. Next time you encounter Grindelwald, make sure he doesn't leave in one piece" he said before taking his leave.
