It was their last day at Hogwarts and everyone gets ready to leave and board the train. Iris sat in a compartment, alone. Augustana was with Euphemia and Fleamont.

It was quiet. She looked by her window and saw the castle. Beautiful in all its glory. She remembered her first thoughts when she laid her eyes on it crossing the lake. It looked so haunting in the night sky, but it draws you in. She'll miss the place she once called home.

Iris thought about the memories she had made in Hogwarts. The Astronomy Tower, the morning snow, rivalries, a family, and love. She realized that the compartment she was in was the same one when she first met Tom. She even sat in the very same seat. The only thing different was that she was alone. She went inside first as Tom had other things to do before boarding the train. The train started to move and there were no signs of anyone new coming in, so she kept herself busy with a book. Later on, she grew tired and fell asleep, leaning her head against the window.

Tom was about to pass a particular compartment, but his ring started to appear. As he looked at his ring. A few of their memories during their first year started to pop up in his head.

He gently slid the door and peeked in to see her asleep. Beautiful she was. He stepped in and sat in front of her. He started to remember the first time they met.

"Would you mind if I sit here? Everywhere else is full?"

"Not at all"

He smiled at the thought of it. He saw her eyes flicker open. He saw her beautiful eyes, locked with his.

"I'm sorry, my love" he said.

"For?" She smirked as she adjusted herself.

"Not knowing how much you really mean to me"he said.

"I thought we've been over this already" she chuckled.

"I have a surprise for you, once we get back" he said.

"Don't tell me we are going to raid another tomb" she said.

"No, it's not" he chuckled, "you'll love it" he smiled at her.

The train came to a stop, and everyone got off. Tom and Iris grabbed their things and met up.

"Close your eyes and hold my hand" he said.

She did as he told her and Tom apparated themselves.

"Ok, open them" he said.

Iris couldn't believe it. It was just like what she imagined. A small cottage in the woods. The view looked and felt peaceful. A place she'd want to raise her family in.

"You built this?" she looked at him enormously.

"Come let's go inside" Tom smiled as he held her hand.

"It's beautiful" Iris said.

"But not as beautiful as you" he said as he knelt down, "Iris?" .

She turned around to face him. He knelt down on one knee and presented a square box with a diamond ring.

"Iris Freya, the moment you stepped into my compartment, I never thought you'd change my life. And that boat ride to Hogwarts, I knew I need you in my life. We've gone through such terrible times yet somehow being in each other's presence makes it feel safe...and like home. I've never cared for...never love anyone as much as I love you. You make me the happiest wizard on earth. Iris? Will you marry me?"

"YES,YES!!" Iris cried in happiness.

Tom placed the ring on her finger, and they kissed passionately. Then, there was a knock on the door. They broke their kiss and went over to open it. Augustana burst out of the door to congratulate. Ava, Avery, Lestrange, Malfoy and Antonin followed up.
