"Oh God, Jouno!" Tetchou grumbled as he was helping Jouno to walk. Jouno was heavier than he thought, despite the fact that he seemed really thin, and the fact that he was leaning on Tetchou with all of his weight didn't help him. "How much did you drink?"
"I don't know." Jouno's words were slurred and he hiccupped. "I stopped counting after the third... Or maybe it was fourth... I don't know..." He hiccupped.
He had to support Jouno while trying to unlock the door. He had the spare key of Jouno's house, because Jouno was really forgetful. He would sometimes lose his keys or he would forget where he put them. It was a miracle that someone found the keys he lost and broke into his house until now.
Tetchou could finally unlock the door and pushed it open with his shoulder. "Why did you drink that much?" Tetchou grunted as they walked inside and he could hardly close the door behind them. "Why did you drink that much Jouno?"
"I tried to think something else but..." Jouno said. "No matter how hard I try to think about something else, my thoughts always go back to you." Jouno added. "Actually, if you asked me how many times you crossed my mind, I would say once because you never really leave my mind." Usually, Jouno was not someone like this, but alcohol was something else... It would make someone say the things they wouldn't when they were sober.
Tetchou was surprised. "Jouno, what do you mean?"
"Whenever I think about you, I end up having a stupid grin on my face." Jouno said. "Do you know something Tetchou?" After saying this Jouno became silent.
"What?" Tetchou asked after a minute of silence.
"It's nice to have a crush on someone. It makes you feel like you are alive." Jouno said after a minute of hesitating.
"Who do you have a crush on?" Tetchou asked.
Ah... That moment when your crush asks you who your crush is...
"It's you Tetchou!" Jouno said angrily.
"Jouno you are drunk." Tetchou said calmly or he made the role of a calm person very well. "You don't know what you are saying."
"Yes, I'm drunk, but I know what I'm saying!" Jouno said. He was more angrier. "It is hard for me to pretend like I don't like you that way when in fact I'm crazy for you."
Tetchou was still silent. He didn't know what he was feeling. Tetchou wouldn't understand feelings. Neither his own feelings nor the other people's feelings. He always had a difficult time with reading other people's expressions. It was one of the two secrets he had been hiding from Jouno and from everyone.
"I'm scared of losing you Tetchou, but you are not even mine." Jouno said as tears kept streaming down his cheeks.
Tetchou laid Jouno to the bed gently and put the blanket over Jouno. "Good night Jouno." He said and walked out.
