Over the time, Ryuunosuke and Atsushi had created a beautiful bond between them. Their relationship was too perfect or at least it had been until now...

One night, Atsushi had gone out to meet up with some old friends of his, leaving Akutagawa alone at home. He had expected to be at home around eleven, but when the clock struck midnight he hadn't anything from Atsushi. Ryuunosuke started to feel a swell of dread in his stomach.

Finally, Ryuunosuke got a text from Atsushi at 1 a.m. saying that he was out with a friend until late and that he was sorry that he had forgotten to call.

Atsushi returned home at 2 a.m. to find Ryuunosuke still awake and waiting for him with a stern expression on his face.

"What the hell Atsushi?" Ryuunosuke said, crossing his arms over his chest. "You promised you would be home by eleven and then you just leave me hanging like that? I thought something terrible had happened to you!"

Atsushi rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I'm sorry, Ryuunosuke." He muttered quietly, not meeting Ryuunosuke's gaze. "I didn't mean to worry you. I was just hanging out with an old childhood friend and I forgot to call you..."

"I know you were hanging out with an old friend, Atsushi, but that is no reason to leave me in the dark like that! You know how much I worry when you are not around!" Ryuunosuke said coldly. His voice was shaking slightly.

Atsushi sighed heavily and took a deep breath before meeting Ryuunosuke's gaze. "I understand now." He said softly. "I won't do it again." He reached out and gently placed a hand on Ryuunosuke's shoulder, giving it a comforting squeeze. "I'm sorry for worrying you, Ryuunosuke. It won't happen again." He then held Ryuunosuke's hand. "Let's go to lay on our cozy bed."

Ryuunosuke hesitated for a moment, his eyes were searching Atsushi's face for any sign of deceit or dishonesty. Finally, he nodded his head and allowed Atsushi to lead him to their bedroom. His heart was still pounding in his chest.

As they climbed into bed together, Akutagawa couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that he had every right to be angry with Atsushi, but at the end of the day, he loved him too much to let their relationship fall apart over something as trivial as a forgotten phone call.

Atsushi hugged Ryuunosuke from behind. "I promise I will make it up for you." He whispered in his ear. His breath was warm against Ryuunosuke's skin.

"I know you will," Akutagawa murmured, turning his head slightly to kiss Atsushi's cheek. "Just... Be more considerate in the future, okay?"
